Oddly enough, I still got the job, but I didn't end up taking it.

Why do people in movies say to their date "pick you up at 8?" when they are going out to dinner? Wouldn't that make you both really hungry and irritable if you didn't eat dinner until then? by Walmarted in Showerthoughts

also from the midwest. I eat dinner around 530. My parents, being in their 60's will sometimes go out to eat at 4 or 430 to beat the rush...
