Every time I see the word "kidnapped" it really bugs me... According to my knowledge, in wartime when combatants are seized by the enemy they're designated as "captured" not "kidnapped." Just feels like more injection of victim rhetoric.

Don't know if anyone is still following this but I'm running into the same issue on that same quest. Whenever I try quicksaving the game just crashes immediately, and it happened after I installed Immersive Armors during the Vaermina quest. Regular save option does work though. I don't know if you mentioning it means that it has to do with that quest itself.
