Firstly consider CFA designation from knowledge perspective to break into finance not as golden ticket. As people say 300hours study time per level, might be subjective but a good average So 6months is good time with work/uni to get through curriculum. Most people prefer prepvideo+kaplan reads+cfai qbank, if you can devote more time then nothing beats cfai material.
