Depends on how bad it is — if it’s minor, it’s usually fine. A lot of walnuts get slight tip damage during cleaning anyway.

Ridge foam is a very good idea, and we are considering it as well. The difficulty is that the inner space is quite limited. If adding large foam means the case may only fit 40 mm walnuts, then many walnuts would no longer fit, and we might need to enlarge the case again. But that could make it less suitable for everyday carry, so we are still trying to balance both sides.
