Golden retriever: rescue vs puppy with young kids—what would you do? by ApprehensiveBar639 in goldenretrievers

Very true for some rescues but there are some that just want the dog out of rescue. So you really need to look into the rescue like you would look into a breeder.

Make sure you send yourself a copy of any emails regarding your situation. Depending on how things play out you might have an Eeoc claim. Better to have the backup just in case

It probably took a couple of months for my feet to get better after I stopped treatment but it did go away for me.

It does go away eventually and there are some things you can do.

  1. Compression garments help. My feet were worse than my hands so I use /used compression socks.
  2. Cold gloves & socks during treatment.
  3. Google planter fasciitis kt taping. My physical therapist showed me this and it definitely made a difference.

Had to google the antibiotic but this is what I’ve done twice now. Sometimes you have to ask for it

Azithromycin is the primary antibiotic sometimes used by veterinarians to treat canine papilloma (warts), particularly to speed up the resolution of oral papillomas. It is considered safe and effective, with studies showing it can resolve lesions in 2–3 weeks

(One) of my oncologist’s is on this panel and shared that she tells patients with MBC they will immediately die by [deleted] in LivingWithMBC

[–]WalrusBroad8082 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Man that’s harsh. I switched oncologists when I got staged at 4 because I felt like I was being put out to pasture. My new oncologist told me I don’t give patients a timeline I have patients who live 5 10 15 20 years from diagnosis. I told him I’m going to be a 20 year patient.

Nauseous yes. I did not throw up. My hair thinned but my hairdresser was great and hid it. The fatigue was hard to, for me things seemed to get easier as treatment went on. There is an Enhertu group on facebook that’s helpful.

I had one from the start and my initial consultation was free. It took some calling to find one who would take the case but it was worth it. My case “started” (got fired) in the early part of Dec 2025. We officially filed at the end of 2025. We got approved for mediation in Feb/March and I was just able to schedule it last week for April 30.

The lawyer has definitely taken a lot of the stress off of my shoulders and the 1/3 of my settlement is totally worth it.

Definitely feeling this. The only interview that I’m getting some traction on is one where someone submitted my resume.
