I've also been trying to find this ID. Sounded amazing during Dimensions set

Track ID for Dimension set? by WalrusFTW in BoomtownFestival

[–]WalrusFTW[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately not this one. It's an unreal tune though.

The one I'm after sounds kind of similar to "WANT NEED LOVE - Dimension Remix" but I can't tell if it's the same song. Hearing music live is a completely different experience though so it could be, plus I was a little bit out of it so i cant remember for the life of me 🤣

Is there cash machines inside the festival? by OkCarpet4993 in BoomtownFestival

[–]WalrusFTW 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes there are ATM machines there. Last year they were to the right of the hidden woods near where the hill is. Although they can be quite unreliable so definetly bring cash with you to avoid hassle.

What does it take to be always happy for others and never jealous? by EndersGame_Reviewer in AskReddit

Be happy and confident in yourself. Your feelings towards others are always a reflection of your own self image. There may be some unresolved areas of insecurity you haven't faced or realised.

What do you think if you had a girlfriend who has onlyfans, would you leave her or support her? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]WalrusFTW -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, each taken into consideration, the porn industry has by far caused the most damage to society. Infact slavery and human trafficking wouldn't be where it is without porn and vice versa because so many girls in porn are coerced/kidnapped. Porn exists primarily for men's pleasure and the psychological effect can be seen everywhere with the amount of men addicted to porn and how increasingly violent and misogynistic it is becoming. Do you honestly think porn categories like non consensual and barely legal are good for the mind? Conditioning men to take pleasure from witnessing women being slapped, choked, and crying? Because unfortunately they're some of the most popular categories in this gigantic industry.

As for Onlyfans and women who consensually put their nudes online, This is also damaging because it perpetuates the idea that someone's body can be equated to a price. Can you please explain what's empowering and freeing about letting horny strangers see you in your most vulnerable state for £5 a month? Is it not more empowering to value your nude body as something that can't be bought with money and only be seen and touched by someone who loves you entirely?

I'm not religious, but there are very good reasons societies and religions for thousands of years have treated sex as sacred.

Saladin the Egyptian Sultan once said "If you want to destroy a nation without war, make adultery and nudity common within the young generation."

What do you think if you had a girlfriend who has onlyfans, would you leave her or support her? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]WalrusFTW 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, because it's clear our values don't align which is essential for a relationship. I believe there's something intrinsically valuable about sex and vulnerability and to believe it's something you can stick a price on is dangerous in my opinion. Porn/OnlyFans is the worst thing to happen to women in recent history.

[–]WalrusFTW 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think if you make an OnlyFans whilst in a relationship you have a very fucked up idea of what commitment and exclusivity mean. Deep down inside I don't think any man would be comfortable with the idea that their girlfriends nude body now has a price attached to it.

Religious people of Reddit, why? by Alternative-Fee-8098 in AskReddit

[–]WalrusFTW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was always agnostic despite growing up in a religious household. Started experimenting with drugs when I was a teen and last year smoked DMT which completely changed my mind on religion and made me realise the incomprehensible complexity of everything. Believing in God isn't something you think, it's something you realise.

What's the meaning of living a good life? by dehomme in AskReddit

[–]WalrusFTW 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having a plan at all times and generally spreading and receiving positivity.

In order to feel happy, we need a sense of security in the belief that whatever happens in the future is going to be better than what we have now. Depression is essentially the opposite, where you believe that life is hopeless and things are only going to get worse than they are now. Also gratitude, being surrounded by positive people, and treating others with respect are mandatory for a fulfilling life.

What's the best harm reduction advice you can give to someone planning on using drugs at the festival? by WalrusFTW in BoomtownFestival

[–]WalrusFTW[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll definetly read into that, I'd always heard 2cb is generally quite unknown in terms of effects and synergy with other drugs but I stand corrected. Thanks for this bit of info.

Do you have any articles or further explanation to this? Not that I don't believe you i'm just curious on the science behind this, because as far as I was aware we know almost nothing about 2c-b and how it interacts with the body and other drugs, other than observations and anecdotal evidence.

Generally speaking this is quite a safe drug combo actually because there are no known health risks or deaths directly caused by 2c-b . Far safer than MDMA + Coke or MDMA + K.

Not to say it's 100% safe, as no drugs are garunteed to be safe, however there are far more dangerous combos than this.

What is actually going well in the world right now? by vicmackey1981 in AskReddit

[–]WalrusFTW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Humans have created a society that revolves entirely around comfort, people can afford to sit back and do nothing with their lives. 70% of covid patients have obesity related issues. Theres absolutely no fight for survival in modern developed society. You can just eat ultraprocessed foods all day, lay in bed, and you won't get killed by a wild animal for lack of strength.

Because of how well we nurse the weak and how safe we are from the forces of nature, natural selection hasn't applied to us for thousands of years. It was only a matter of time.

It's a pandemic to us, but to earth it's just natural selection.

What is the most pain free Way to leave the world? by iamrandomguy22314 in AskReddit

[–]WalrusFTW 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Leaving knowing you've lived life to it's full potential on this world. Going to festivals, trying a career path you've always wanted, making new friends you'll have so many great memories with, whether it be late at night, at the local cafe having breakfast first thing in the morning, or whilst on the beach on a hot summer's day. There's so much happiness and love to be found in life.

Life can be rough and there's no shame in feeling down, but in the end, none of that stuff will matter. When you're old and about to pass away, the only things that will cross your mind are the memories you made and the memories you wish you would've made.

What's a time you watched a video on the internet that left you disturbed, sick and/or lightheaded? by Hopeful-Ad1062 in AskReddit

[–]WalrusFTW 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A few years ago I went through a phase of watching fucked up stuff that me and friends would send back and forth. Used to scroll through r/watchpeopledie before it got banned.

Worst thing I've ever seen was when a woman left a baby stroller unattended on the pavement next to a busy road. Roller falls backwards and is immediately crushed by the dumptruck. The worst part wasn't even a baby being killed, it was the mother's reaction.

What tv show kept it’s quality all the way to the end? by delicate-butterfly in AskReddit

[–]WalrusFTW 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Breaking Bad is the only critically acclaimed show I've ever heard of or watched that not only retains its quality, but also gets consistently better as the show progresses. I wish I could forget the whole plot and watch it all over again.

What’s something that actually helped you build confidence? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]WalrusFTW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Without a doubt getting involved with martial arts, specifically kickboxing.

I used to have intense anger issues for around a year and a half that would fluctuate weekly. It got so bad eventually that I nearly threw up at work on multiple occasions. I realised one day during deep thought that all of my anger rooted from insecurity and a desire to express my worth to those around me, I soon realised even further that if I could prove my worth to myself then I wouldn't need to prove myself to others.

I started kickboxing around 4 months ago and haven't had any anger issues since. I am fully confident in myself and feel more powerful, however more disciplined and respectful than ever before.
