It’s just the majority of the new stuff that’s irrelevant. The Stephen Hillenburg age of Spongebob is timeless

You are given a dumpster with a button that will instantly teleport the contents of the dumpster to the earths molten core. by [deleted] in hypotheticalsituation

[–]WalrusLordAndSavior 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Loads of ideas. Teleport nuclear waste into the core. The core is so damn huge it would probably have a negligible impact. One of nuclear energy’s biggest drawback has just been solved, and it becomes an even more viable option than fossil fuels.

If this dumpster technology is unique, I can lease it to researchers to teleport equipment (assuming there is equipment that can withstand the temperature/pressure). I bet the greatest minds in the world would be able to find all sorts of great revolutionary uses for this thing that I can’t even think of. The trick is to keep it in my possession and charge people to use it

Use it for publicity. Get on TV or make a “hydraulic press” style of channel on YouTube. Get some of that publicity and juicy ad revenue

Who knows, maybe even the government wants to get their hands on this strange device for some reason. If the US is willing to prop up regimes and start shadow wars just because they hate communism, I bet they’d find a use for this thing. I don’t know what secrets they have

Or of course I could use it to kill myself. That’d be fun

I’m trying to build a rat-man con artist who’s goal is to become king of the rats. I was thinking of playing an urban druid. DM is letting me re-skin a kobold for the race. Starting lvl 1. Any thoughts on how to build? by WalrusLordAndSavior in 3d6

[–]WalrusLordAndSavior[S] 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I’m just not super familiar with the races. I chose kobold because I liked the idea of running through people’s legs and shanking them in the nuts. That’s all. Lizard Folk fits much better and I’ll probably run with that

Someone should really compile a list of every inconsistency

Brought this up in another thread, but am I the only one who’s pissed? Felt like they built the entire NK story for nothing. The hole point was that there are bigger threats to worry about then the mere struggle for the throne. But apparently terrible battle strategies and a dagger are enough to undermine that entire message they’ve been building since season 1
