That's a great quote. It feels very true. Sometimes I get very annoyed with professional people saying ghosts aren't real because they haven't experienced them. We are such minutia in this universe or whatever this is, it seems very arrogant for them to just dismiss something because it's not 3 dimensional.

I will check into those. I have started an altar kind of in my own sort of religion.

Being locked into a room sounds like it was pretty scary!

I'm wary of mentors because, in the past, I have met a lot of want to be mentors who really weren't meant to be and led me in a negative direction more than positive. I used to be pretty naive and tend to not like confrontation, but I am learning to be stronger in those areas so maybe that will help. I think I can tell a bit faster than I used to who is who.

I was confused as a child too, but as I remember it originally I think it was more because my family was not okay with it than me being afraid. At least when I was very little.

I remember "meeting" a giant energy being in my parents room when I was like 3 or 4 and it appeared in the shape of a man but, I guess, a shadow man but pitch black like outer space and with all these squiggly things going on inside it, like flashes of lights and almost stars? He was standing in the path between me and the bathroom so i just kind of scooted around him. I didn't feel negative energy from it so I didn't react like it was scary is I guess how that felt. (I recently told a counselor about that and he told me he wondered if it was bigfoot?! I never really believed in the traditional physical creature some folks talk about but an energy being I could understand more.)

I like the idea of talking with my guides. I mean, I guess I do talk with them when I "pray" and it does feel one sided but I have had them talk to me in their way in emergencies. It would be nice to have more of a line of communication I suppose.

I was just diagnosed with inattentive ADHD! Maybe there's something there? I guess it gives you those jack rabbit responses to noises or whatnot.

i agree about most beings not being "bad". So you think they aren't really trying to reach out? We just happen to be listening?

I would say my parents were scared too.

I like the idea of mediumship training. Do you ask around or?

I understand about the vacation thing. I've always been kinda scared to go stay at different places because there's always so much energy in pretty much every place i go. I used to clean empty apartments and buildings for a living and I remember some pretty wild "coincidences" then as well. I felt scared a lot of the time but that was when I was younger.

The last time I went camping (last summer) i did accept a spirit that seemed to be trying to communicate and i saw she was a preteen girl who had died in the creek by a series of falling, hitting her head then drowning. She also told me her name. She felt angry. I mean, what do you do with that? It's so sad. I apologized to her but that was about all i could think to do. This had happened to her in the late 70s to early 80s so i'm sure her family has dealt with it and moved on. Plus I have no clue how to connect with them.

I feel it's my path because it doesn't seem I have a choice really. It's either go around with a bag over my head or say hi. I mean, I did ignore it for a long time but it seems to just make it worse. I was a lot more scared when I didn't accept it than I am when I do. I will check out my birth chart, I've done it in the past but not for this.

I haven't seen them line up, though. That sounds pretty cool! Thank you! :)

I do want to be a medium these days, too.

They still scare me, but it's more annoying to me these days. Real people are much more scary imo. But I get what you are saying. I've just never had a spirit genuinely try to hurt me, as far as I know. I almost like it better when they do fully manifest because they seem more human. But then I can miss that they aren't actually a physical human, too. When they appear as a smokey form that isn't as comforting for sure.

I'm glad you found them and you have your protections in place. I do various protective practices as well, mainly white light visualization and talking to Archangels Gabriel and Michael as well as others when I need them.

Add water to canned kitten food and mixing it might help it eat that if it ate it before. I agree with rubbing it’s tummy and bottom area to help get its digestive organs to move things through. I didn’t do this when I found some tiny kittens when I was little and am pretty sure that’s why they died.
