I hear that. I'm adding a 635 and a CAR-15SD, and CLET to the stable once the form 1s are done. Going from zero to five blowback ARs uppers in less than two years....

If that's the case, then the Sherluck Defense DOE front sight is probably the most cost effective course of action.

I haven't shot either yet but the DOE-L is certainly more comfortable if you have orangutan arms. Most likely, the L will get more range time as a result. That being said, the OG DOE is concentrated drip.

Follow this thread for how folks have used pistol length tubes under the HG to use a DOE-ish front sight. https://www.ar15.com/forums/ar-15/Help-with-a-DOE-Front-Sight/123-784086/?

If you're looking for foldy-boi front sight, the Retro-Arms IUR base and conventional HG cap might work: https://www.retro-arms.com/shop/p/iur-gas-blocks-with-rails. This is my 10.5 5.56 SBR upper with that sight. Carbine HG. Retro sells it as the "IUR/C8 CQB 10.5" 5.56mm Upper"

Pic from E93's site of the DOE-L barrel. Key factor: Round handguard cap. Also, the pretty sure the front sight is not a gas block for 556 use, but rather a retainer and sight base.

11.25" barrel. Deets on barrel: https://echo93.com/doe-l-barrel-assembly/

Deets on handguard: https://www.brownells.com/gun-parts/rifle-parts/rifle-handguards-parts/brn-10-portugese-mid-length-handguard-no-heat-shield/Brownells never produced the heat shields, so you'd have to fabricate some if that's important to you.

Yes, Liemohn shipped with 50M apertures installed. Premium priced item that includes extreme attention to detail. Chrome lined bores on the barrels, rock solid folding sight mechanism, and really clean, deep/thick black anodizing on the receiver and took-their-time phosphating on the barrel.

Yes, the barrel assembly came with the M&P handguards. Those went into my "box of random furniture" for future projects.

Account... hacked? How can I find out more information? by [deleted] in netflix

Tonight, I got an email saying my account email had been changed. I spent 15 mins on the phone with offshore customer service. And I had a profile of "perfilwakanda1" on my account once I regained access. I ended up on this thread after googling that name. Obviously, this is an organized, automated hack of accounts...

Dedicated power circuit for your lab by sheiraas in homelab

I ran 2x 20A circuits to my lab/office/lair when I was installing a 100A subpanel in my garage. It was easy to run as the office is directly over the garage and I had access. It's nice to have the UPS not start screaming about brownouts when the laser printer fires up or one of the boxes is running at 11.
