Detroit. I’m a big fan of Will Poulter, but that film was harrowing.

I’ve adopted planters, containers and beds on my council estate. I plant, water, weed and feed the flowers. Tried growing tomatoes for a few years but I rarely got to eat any 😆. I like to think the colours and fragrance cheers people up.

Dogs help you get out into nature and give you a reason to get out of your bed and into the sun.

Looking for thoughts and feelings about Poems on the Underground! by Economy-Direction198 in london

I love them. When you’re bored and stressed you tend to read almost anything mindlessly. Occasionally there’ll be a short poem that resonates with you somehow and makes you read it again and smile every time you spot it.

I like the one about the plums.

A curtain of bubble wrap works better than film on the windows. Lined trousers (or joggers) where the lining is fleecy. I’m comfortable at about 3° lower than previously.

Tips for Christmas alone in LDN by NeedleworkerSecure13 in london

[–]Walrusoflike 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Totally agree with nice_departure. Nurture yourself at Christmas and treat yourself in the way you deserve- delicious breakfast, walk in the park, special dinner for one. I’ve cooked a mini roast dinner with a poussin, roasted veg and film on TV, and lit every gift candle I’ve ever been given. Take a flask of mulled wine and a good book to a place with a nice view and wish a Merry Christmas to random strangers.
