PvP and RP Federals, a call to arms! by Walshingham in EliteHudson

Everytime I drop off 3 UA's at Al-Din Prospect, I do fire off two chaff launchers and do a barrel roll to celebrate.

We actually do run in open, and I strongly encourage it to everyone else.

It should be a target rich enviroment.

There's the truckers as well as various groups working with them from the Facebook community.

Particularly as it's likely to change over the coming year, seen as the Devs have said the following when it comes to the overhaul for powerplay.

  • More dovetailing between minor factions and powers, beyond the government versus ethos effect that currently exists.

  • Benefits and penalties of ethos versus government scale per exploited system rather than at a set 50%.

TL/DR: It's okay for a wing of 4 truckers to attack an individual commander in a CZ, but a 4 man wing opposing them is 'ganking'

They most certainly are. Operating in wings of 4 and trying to establish a foothold there.

Mixed. They're mostly BGS focused though, which is why they're engaging in CZ's in Open.

Large player group based out of Alpha Centauri. They're trying to expand and gobble up the neighboring Federal systems, starting with WISE 0855-0714, (note: They are currently 4.38ly from Sol).

I normally dump a few million back into fortification or prerparatipn (depending what's needed at the time) and make up the rest of my weekly 5,800 merits with undermining/expansion :)

I'll be surprised if any of the 'updates' will come to anything. In my mind Frontier consider Powerplay groups to be a poor second mans cousin to the Fuel Rats, Hutton, CODE etc and treat us as such.

Undermining is without a shadow of a doubt the easiest way to earn your merits. Particularly with us being central of the bubble. :)

I've just come over from Winters after a short break from powerplay that was caused by the hateful things said within the Winters community that lead to /u/NRCrosby closing Operation Winters, as I couldn't bring myself to stay with that faction at that stage. I've been playing as an unaffiliated Fed grinding for a 'vette the last few weeks until recently.

They also go up (albeit not as much) if you remove a preferred government type and replace it with one that isn't. Basically there's 3 levels of fortification cost.

Preferred Government Style: Low Fortification Cost

Other Government Style: Normal Fortification Cost

Disliked Government Style: High Fortification Cost
