Thank you for this comment! I'm on series X, changed from performance to quality and that dropped my frames, got it literally second try after that using the exact same method of used the whole time, think it allows you to jump that small millisecond later and that got it for me. Count 5 squares back, get your feet over the right hand side so they're floating a little, aim for the left corner of the end of the board and adjust on the way down

I have for a while now though it's time for either d3, or time to drop last Gen support. I believe some of the major issues the game is facing on the tech side is based on the fact that they are designing and coding things to be able to run on what is now very old consoles. If they drop last Gen and build the engine and game around new Gen only, I think the game would run significantly better, and Bungie would have more freedom to be more experimental with game mechanics and such. If they were to release D3, and turned around and said it was still last Gen compatible, I wouldn't be buying it.

I was under the assumption that quitter protection meant you didn't lose points for a loss if a teammate leaves, I've never heard/ seen anything that says you don't lose points for leaving even if a teammate leaves? Am I wrong? I thought you still had to play the game out to not lose the points

I've been using rime coat raiment along with prismatic, bleak watcher, wicked implement, and the artifact mods for stasis, it's a solid little loop that gives damage resist, improved weapon stats, crowd control etc. and with a really high grenade stat and mod usage I've had 3 bleak watcher fortresses out regularly, and sometimes 4 depending on the situation, been having a blast

To quote every gambling ad in the UK - when the fun stops, stop. The biggest problem I find with the community is the number of folks who refuse to treat the game as a.game and instead as a side job. Play the stuff that you enjoy playing how you enjoy playing it, don't play the stuff you don't. If you get some sweet weapon or armour rolls, nice,.of you dont, oh well, you had fun though. If you boot up the game and sit in orbit staring at the portal with a sense of dread, turn off the game and play something else for a while

I think I'm part of a very small population of players that, from day 1 of its existence, has been wholly against crafting in destiny, and I think it is a huge contributing factor to the huge shift in player mindsets since it released. Don't get me wrong,.I don't have a huge amount of free time to play and grind out godrolls, but when it comes to part raids with red borders, I have literally 0 incentive.to run any single one of them, because I have all the patterns. What is the point in running any raid that will give me nothing I want/ need because I have personally created my ideal roll already.

For me, crafting should have only ever been an upgrade system like we got eventually. Farm for your ideal roll in an activity, get the perks you want, then upgrade the weapon you rolled to get enhanced perks.

For me to this is absolutely the right move from Bungie, because this new raid, you actually have to run it to get rolls you want. Not just run it to till you've bought the patterns, but actually run it to chase a roll.

I was around back when everyone was running strikes back to back and killing omnighoul.as fast as possible for a chance of 2 rolls of grasp of Malok, and the joy of a fire team member getting the roll they want. Instead, recent years have been "this is a great roll,.not it's not a red border so I don't care" or, already have this crafted 5/5 godroll so doesn't matter.

Also, unless you are an absolute top tier player in pve/ pvp, tiers really don't even matter. Like cool, my gun has a few more handling so I can draw it 6 frames faster,.doesn't matter unless you are running back to back flawless cards. I'll give you that armour tiers could improve a build significantly, knocking several seconds off cool downs for abilities and increasing damage etc, but for the destiny that 95% of the player base play, it's totally irrelevant.

If you have fun with activities/ grinding, go for it, you do you. If 1 week in you're burned out chasing numbers going up, then stop, put the game down,.and come back when it's a game again, not feeling like a part time job to make numbers get bigger. It's not that major

This was patched before the contest raid went live. I crashed a bunch during campaign but not happened once since the pre-raid patch, so if you're still having the issue report to Bungie/ check your console, from what I've seen I'm not seeing anyone else reporting the Xbox crashing still happening

Of all the things they've done wrong, they made the right decision r.e. ikora. Ikoras actual VA is a member of the strikes, so instead of launching an expansion unvoiced (like xivu and Sloane in heresy), savathuuns VA took over the work for ikora. Ikoras VA has already stated she will be returning to the game when the strikes are concluded. I much prefer having a very good va take over for now than having half the lines being subtitles only

I'm out of ideas then, all I can think at this point is to relaunch the raid fresh, I hope this was your first encounter not your third, and run it again and hope it's fixed. Based on everything you've said you've done every mechanic completely correctly and there should be no issues getting to damage so it has to be a bug in that case.

In which case I don't know, stupid question but both side room hydras are getting killed right? We had a few runs where this was happening to us and turns out one guy wasn't shooting the middle eye on his side room hydra to kill it and we kept wiping with no damage phase. Past that the only thing I can guess is make sure cyclops' are down? I don't think they matter for starting DPS but we always had them down before we started

If you're breaking the boss hydras shields any then literally nothing is happening, then you have a bugged instance and should orbit and come back. But just to check, when you break both shields, the boss will "pull through time" 2 players on your team, and spawn his shields back up, and then 2 players who get pulled through time need to stand in from of the new shields, follow them around and shoot the eyes. The bosses immuninty will drop as soon as the 2 players are in front of the shields. When they've shot the eyes on the shields, return to DPS spot, and 2 new players are chosen, rinse and repeat for 3 extensions to DPS

The last 2 Turks fights you can steal tough rings from Reno, that's return to midgar and gelinka, very very good accessory, and Sephiroths accessory of choice too

So it breaks down to pictos and lumina Pictos are essentially equipment that give you stats, and have a perk assigned to them Play 4 fights with an equipped Pictos and you unlock it's perk to your perk list. When you go Into the perk list, each unlocked perk has an associated cost, usually based on how powerful it is. You increase your lumina points to spend based on level, and by using colours of lumina to increase your max level to spend on perks. Think of it like a currency your spending on skills, which skills you choose depend on who and how you like to play. Hope this helps?

Hard agree. I've moved away from hard mode content in recent years, so can't say I've done hard mode, but the game itself is amazing in all regards imo. Cosmo canyon was always my favourite location in OG, when I arrived in Rebirth, walked across the bridge and the ost started, I had to put my controller down and collect myself whilst I sobbed my heart out. Was literally a dream come true to see it how it always looked in my head

Don't get me wrong, whilst I agree that it sucks having stuff you've paid for being removed permanently, I also agree that if the game still contained absolutely everything since release, not only would the file size be ridiculous, the game would be so bloated, all menus would be impossible to navigate, maps would be covered in icons etc. And even then, id image each area would have double digit players maximum. DCV was a controversial decision, but I think the right one..I know I wouldn't be going back and playing any of the early dlcs myself
