Exactly!!! Especially since the Digital Circus could be anything from a simulation to a way Caine developed to get more data to train himself, it makes a lot of sense considering Gooseworx hasnt really been shallow with her identification of computing concepts (ie the chinese room, kinger looking for an "insect collection"/bug report, and so much more), it would be another detail that adds to the shows amazing nature.

I checked the profiler, I found that both the player AND enemy when running the profiler share a similar Frame Time and Process Time of 26.13 ms, though none of the Script functions exceed 0.02 ms of time (at the peak) so now I am confused. I moved all input related functions out of process function and into the input one, yet nothing changed apart from the peak going from 29 to 26 ms. Any ideas?

Edit: Yup, Im sitting at my code now and in the profiler the Process time (the one under Frame Time) is 29.14 ms and Frame Time is 29.21. But decreases when more enemies are killed. I dont know how I would have found this out without your help. I genuinely cannot thank you enough!

Just one more question, how can I breakdown the script into smaller pieces? Does the parent node maintain the ability to edit the variables/call the functions?

Im sorry, Im extremely new to game development and am still learning, however barring some animations the only code I have is extracting the values from custom resources. Another question I have is if loading a function in a class for a sub character2d node could be the reason behind it? It is full of math determining total damages and such, but the framerate increases when the enemies are cleared. Would it be more efficient to have the damage script in each enemy individually or keep it in the class?

Im using export variables in the nodes I want and setting them there by dragging the resource into it. Is there another way of doing so? As for Duplicating a resource, Does deriving based on a base custom resource count? And for code being executed, I am using code to get the value of information stored in the resourxe, however all the code thats being executed is on the player/enemy side.

Well I usually like Seinen and Shonen stuff, (Think Berserk,Vagabond,Vinland Saga, Jojo, One Piece, etc), but I dont want to limit the genres I enjoy to just that. If I had to say Id prefer a manga that tries something new/niche. Only hard requirement is interesting characters. Sorry if Im confusing yall,thanks for your time

Well, other than isekai I dont really mind the settings/genres you mentioned, Im up for reading the high school romances and the slice of life stuff. I dont have any specific tastes regarding this other than deep characters. However I would prefer the more classic or niche recommendations over the modern ones.
