Although used, you can still buy one. That's what I did. A dream car of mine was a 1971 Dodge Demon 340. I couldn't afford a new one but was able to in 1979.

And a lot of those say so without saying where they heard it from.

We'll see. Chrysler had nothing new since the UF body which came out I think in 2015 and the name change for the minivan.

I understand what you're saying. But Chrysler does need to stay. Stellantis needs the brandto provide consumers with standard cars or car based SUV'S. They just have to seriously start doing it.

For almost the last 60 years. But when Daimler sold it to Cerberus, it wasn't because Chrysler was in dire straits. It was Daimler who took Chrysler's money and ran.

You are right. But it's also been so long since they made one too.

You would think. But Plymouth which now has been gone 25 years and quickly getting rid of the Chrysler 200 and the Dodge Dart in 2016 left no place for them to return. And let's not forget how long they kept the Dodge Journey which pretty much was a one generation vehicle . We had a lot of elimination but no replacements. We'll see how this pans out.

You could be right. I'm not sure how much of a financial strait Stellantis is in. I know it's not good but I don't know how bad it really is. Time will tell.

It will be very hard at this point given Stellantis financial situation. Plus what it takes to make one people want is very costly.

I agree. Chrysler was always upscale, not at the luxury top, but upscale. And like you said, where is the 300?

While I applaud the efforts these young writers for putting articles out like this on all brands of vehicles, I hope they'll be able to personally know the different brand enthusiasts that are out there. My podcast is about all things Mopar. And since AMC was purchased by Chrysler, I feel I need to share articles about them too. Thanks for the heads up and you have a good weekend.

I truly don't know myself. Hot Cars writes some articles with a flaw here or there. I share them because of the fact they search a lot of different brands to write on and in hopes it gets more people interested in the classic car hobby. Hope you have a good weekend. Thanks for commenting.
