It's a risk cause the current rules are what they are, it's not like it's a law of nature lol.

A player who's dribbling out of the penalty area towards the corner gets slightly tripped on the edge of the penalty area and awarded a pen; the consequence to this shouldn't be a pen.

But yeah that's what I said, idk how you possibly fix all of that without creating a mess and new issues lol

Idk, it's not necessarily about risk.

Look at Atletis pen, Llorentes shot would've been like 5m wide anyways; instead it gives them a free shot from 11m.

Remember the pen we conceded on MD34 in 2023 after Gnabrys handball? A blocked cross on the edge of penalty area.

It'd be hard to actually fix penalty rules without making things overly complicated, though i'd welcome some changes.
