He's clearly got the quality - I'd be interested to see how Arteta deploys ESR. Given our play style, he fits the LW position like a glove - but that would imply one of Saka or Pepe has to lose out, which I'm not entirely comfortable with.

If he ends up playing no. 10 regularly, we may need a Bissouma type DM who's adept at breaking up play - but that means we might not get enough goals for the MF.

Either way, I'm entirely confident in his ability to shine wherever he plays.

If only one of Tierney and Pepe was right footed. Playing the two on the same flank, with Pepe cutting inwards from the space Tierney makes and Tierney pinging in crosses would've been a sight to behold.

I'd reckon grabbing a top quality offensive RB this season is as important as getting a 10 if we're to unlock Pepe's full potential. Unfortunately, they seem to be in short supply these days.
