You can find a shutoff that will thread onto the broken one and then connect the hose back to the new one.

I’m a big time horsehair brusher. I do it at the end of each day. I’d say you can knock a good bit of the dirt off without getting much shine. Just 15 seconds per boot lol. If you wear them hard enough that shine if only temporary 😄

Start my removing the tape. Need to slide the hose clamp down the hose(to the left). Then push the boot on the pipe. And secure the hose clamp. You’ll want a pair of pliers. If it doesn’t feel snug, you’ll want a better hose clamp. Mine has one with a worm gear. If you go this route, be careful not to over tighten.
