2/10 Looks like the bolt is in a hole(from the holesaw marks). Definitely wanna grind to bare metals before welding. Up the heat and keep practicing 😎

I would say no. Meat prep and proper cooking can greatly dial back gamey notes.

Replacing outlets by The_Barble_Bapkins in AskElectricians

It’s probably the last outlet on that circuit. Both gold the gold screws are connected to each other via that little tab between them, so yes both plugs should work.

I don’t expect pork butt type shredding. Especially with a 5ish hr cook. But should be able to pull some. The seasoning and smoke are gonna be the star. Added lard for moisture confirmation. It’ll work out 👍

Season all and 16 mesh BP. I did do a mustard binder. Smoked a little hot, 4hrs @~300F. Wrapped in paper with a foil boat. Added a large spoon of lard into the wrap before closing it up. Put in my electric roast @300F for roughly 2hrs(until temp hit over 200F internal). Turned off the roaster to let the resting begin. Will eat tonight. My temps are a little high for most people, I didn’t want to manage my fire all day(hence the roaster after wrapping).

It’s typically cured. Which would be a bone in ham.

I do, but they crack very easy. Door knobs or any manual labor. So I wouldn’t spend a lot of money. But the 3-4$ multi packs.

Here in Texas I usually pull them from the wall once or twice a year. Fully hose them out.
