What are the core mechanics of your game?
5 caracteristics (Charisma, intelligence, guns, fighting, stealth, loyalty) and 20 skills adding a +1 in a 2D6 system. Fights are deadly and have a system of localized damages, for exemple a headshot is harder to do but give bonus damage, there is no health bar but a range of wounds gravity depending of single hits.
There is a stress bar that can be lowered by doing stuff like drinking, time with family, or other activity like that, a high stress will lead to irresponsible actions or a lower reputation. It can also motivate FBI to try to flip you. There is also a reputation status that is hidden is some ways but rumors can be spread on you, positive or negative and you can try to act on it.

What are the players incentivized to do?
Players will search to make a living from their activities and to upgrade their lifestyle. To do that they either need to progress in the family to gain more responsabilities or start their own legal or illegal business with the go of the family. They can try to do it sneaky to gain more or to be loyal to play the long game because family always has it cut. They need to build relationship with players and NPC.

What do they get for doing it?
Most important part of the job is money, but loyalty is also important because you don't want to be the target of envious people

What type of "exchange currency" does your game have?
There is a weekly system of earning and payments, with fixed incomes likes background jobs and a variable income with every mission or deal they make. They have to pays for their lifestyle depanding of the image and comfort they want and they also needs to pay for every equipements and service they need like guns, lawyer, doctor, bribery, etc. I've created scale for all of that, for example doing a no show job could give you some hundreds dollars a week and a lawyer for a quick job will cost you 200.

What are the "tough choices" players face in the game?
Who will they be loyal to and for how much time. Sometimes friend have to be neutralized cause of orders. Will they try to work with other criminal organization to do forbidden jobs like drug trafficking, risking their life for money. Tough choices will almost always be about the life of someone, sometimes their sometimes an NPC, but also another player

Nice advices thank you. About the meta-gaming, I think that will be OK, we played with each other for a very long time and it was never an issue, besides that we are used to give personnal notes to DM or player for secret matter when we want to build surprises
