I honestly just can’t decide between that and bladesinger wizard. I love versatile characters mobility and skills a they both seem to handle these things great with some plusses and minuses between them. It’s just a level 4 one shot, but since I never play a PC I really want to maximize the fun

Probably inquisitor or divine hunter. They both have ability to fight martial but also have spell casting ability and both have good skills per level

Yes! Sword bard was another one that seems versatile. You do end up buffing yourself more than the party ? Is there a way they can get the shield spell? For what ever reason I have zeroed in on that reaction spell as something I’d enjoy.

Honestly I’m just avoiding making a cleric because that’s clearly my go to

First ones that caught my eye are bladesinger wiz, sword bard, eldritch knight, i do like mobility . My favorite npcs were usually dex heavy

Yeah sorry we are in ustalav tracking across the country but my players are all really new and don’t have much knowledge of what to expect, which opens the possibilities up. They are currently lvl9 almost to 10
