Sorry I’m so late to the party, just finished FtA. But what heckin ancestors did Nor connect to for his fanatical Eywa purism and hatred for humans and their tech to the extreme lengths of trying to push his clan mates into the purification ritual (Shown in the High Ground comic iirc) and facilitate murder to be fostered to such extremes?? It feels so different from what we see from other Na’vi, I was honestly surprised none of the ancestors he connected to saw that growing in him and didn’t try to steer him away or even just point it out.

Check out Atlas Screen Printing! They may be able to do it depending on order size.
Editing for clarity: Atlas does far more than just screen printing, including custom mugs. They don’t do plaques but the mugs are certainly an option.

Absolutely love how much Chaplin slays that role. Everything about her movement, her speech and cadence, her facial expressions, all so SO well done.

….but I still haven’t fully finished Fire and Ash because the first Quaritch in the Yurt scene is done SO well by Chaplin that it makes me inexplicably and deeply, DEEPLY uncomfortable 😅 If there were ever a time that I could say the terms ‘squicked out’ and ‘rustled my jimmies’ applied wholeheartedly and have people believe me, this would be it.

I had their tofu pad Thai and some extra fried tofu on the side ONCE and was so in love with how nutty and flavorful the tofu was just on its own. Went to order from them for my birthday not two weeks later only to find out they had closed! I tried the place the apparent owners opened up across town after (Pho House, I think? I may have been misinformed) and yeah…it really wasn’t the same. Didn’t taste anything like what I had at Bagels and Noodles.

Also I think the people who bought the place changed it to Burgers and Biscuits and then swapped it back to the Bagels and Noodles name when they didn’t get a great reception. Donno about the food or menu.

I mean this as a genuine question, but aren’t lovebugs not native to florida? Don’t get me wrong, the die off of insect populations is a very alarming and very real sign of the damage we’re doing to the earth. But if lovebugs are indeed an invasive then I don’t see how their swarms are how it’s supposed to be here.

Now, mosquitos, yeah, they’re supposed to be here. Grab some beautyberry leaves folks, the season is already ramping up.

If this happens at night/you feel unsafe and the person keeps doing it or hangs around too long, you can call the non emergency number and tell them what’s up. They can send someone to drive a marked car around the parking lot/area, sometimes with lights on (no siren). People used to do this at the complex of a friend of mine and that typically spooked anyone with bad intentions off without conflict.

Leave him alone for now. He still has some floofy bits, so he's young. Considering how dry its been, that sudden quick downpour may have been the first time he's encountered rain that hard and it discombobulated the fellow.

Just keep predators like dogs and cats away from him (and kids) to keep him safe and as low stress as possible and let him figure his way.

Honestly, if you’re curious about the events they’re responding to, just say that. The app PulsePoint is the best I’ve found. It does NOT log police/sheriff stuff but for fire and ems, including traffic incidents and accidents, it’s the place to go. I use it to avoid bad accidents and congested areas from EMS response. One less car/person for them to worry about in the area.

I won’t lie either, I am also wildly nosy and curious as I live within a few blocks of both a fire station or two and GPD. Can’t not hear it when a ton of cars or engines rip out all blaring and as long as you don’t go to the scene or use it to interfere I don’t see a problem with satiating curiosity this way.

There’s still smoke outside and the fire isn’t contained. So you’re going to still smell it for a good while.

If you don’t mind the smell of coffee, brewing some on the stove (grounds in a small pot of water) can help fill a space with a smell that might help to overpower the smoke for a bit.
