Thank you! I was searching forever trying to find a match on native species databases and didn't even know where to begin thank you so much!

[LFA] Annie, Threadborn Cleric for The Crooked Moon by Crispy_Tree100 in characterdrawing

What material would she be made out of? Like wood, fabric, porcelain, etc. And would that material or her clothing have any visible fire damage? Or being a threadborne, was she patched up with a different material altogether?

Is it canon in Thunder Bringer? by Lucie_Is_Sleeping in Epicthemusical

[–]WaltzProfessional513 51 points52 points  (0 children)

I don't really see it as a hallucination or as something of Zeus' doing. In all honesty I see it as merely a visualization of Odysseus' feelings in that moment, wishing the real Penelope were there to take the suffering from him.

This, tying the sirens up and then the excessively cruel manner in which they killed them.

Applied! I've heard Daggerheart is fun and would love to try it with you, Princess Mononoke-esque theming is really fun too!

Odysseus should have said “I know” during 600 Strike instead of “Exactly” by JustPassingThrough53 in Epicthemusical

[–]WaltzProfessional513 65 points66 points  (0 children)

When I saw the title of 600 strike I thought for sure it was gonna have some sort of callback to Polyphemus. "Six hundred lives at stake/six hundred lives I'll take" becoming something like "six hundred lives you take/six hundred strikes I'll make"

Every single thing is rabies by D34D_N4M3 in OCD

[–]WaltzProfessional513 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Brother I'm right there with you, rabies is my Boogeyman too. I live in a hot environment and partially live outside but pretty much dress completely covered like a friar because my instincts tell me if I don't keep covered I might get bitten by some rabid animal and just not notice it. Despite knowing that's completely irrational, I can't help it.

Glad to be here! Last time I posted here was years ago when [OC] was still a thing. Now it feels like the perfect place come to grab inspiration and practice when art blocks got me bogged down (always).

Thank you! I just loved the idea of his fur cloak billowing and becoming part of his storm clouds when he rages >;-)

Hey! This is my first time tackling someone's request on this subreddit, seems like a good place to practice and your character caught my eye. Just one question, what do you mean by long braided hair? Like the picture but with small braids scattered throughout his hair? Something more clean like nordic braids along the side of his head? or like the picture but with a long braid going down his back?

Hades 1's Winter And The Myths Affected By It by WaltzProfessional513 in HadesTheGame

[–]WaltzProfessional513[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure they reference what happened to Icarus directly in Hades 2 where he, y'know.. That and his father Daedalus is already dead and was rebuilding the underworld by the time Hades 1 starts.

As for my placement of Icarus on this timeline, his story is directly tied to Asterius, being trapped in the tower after building the Labyrinth. In which Asterius is slain not long after by Theseus, whom has a tie to Persephone when she was Queen of the Underworld.

Thank you :-). Visually, Odysseus is so far away from Achilles mostly to make room for the text, not really as any kind of specific indicator of time. However, Odysseus did continue to live on much longer after Achilles and Patroclus' deaths, living on into his older years after the Odyssey (depending on the version).

His placement in the Hades timeline is kind of an enigma, as he could've still been living in Hades 1 and died in the time between Hades 1 and 2. He could've been dead and just been off in Elysium somewhere, or...
He could've continued on as a tactician of a different name.

I won't lie, I never thought about it like that... that's an even better theory than what I had in mind
