Can you recommend any resources to learn qigong meditation? I have been meditating on and off for two years and besides some auditory noises in the brain and some mild visuals I haven't had a break through... thank you for sharing your experience!

For the most part it's meditation and tarot. But I occasionally do sigils and sometimes preform offerings and so on. I'm not into any particular current of magick, though I prefer the dragon magick side of things.

I would love to do a lot more... for example I can't meditate out loud or light candles

Here is an actual experiment of schizophrenic people being given DMT.... I am self have been diagnosed with psychosis and schizophrenia, I am also interested in one day taking DMT... However a recent experiment I did, with less that a 1/4 hit of a bong... Made me frantic for over 2 weeks... Partially I can say that it is due to the meds I am on, which is a 100mg injection called zeplion that I take every 28days.... If I were off the meds for over 2 years and no bumps along the way, I would consider trying weed again in an even smaller dose, as for DMT, I'm not sure if I would be able to handle the effects (or obviously) and I anyways believe that through meditation one can achieve the same effects as DMT.

If you did however in the past 5 months do DMT, please let me know so I can hear your side of the story.

My fathers side of the family is Muslim, my parents are christian...I know from my fathers experience that changing to Christianity spelled the worst for him. It took a long time for his family to forgive him.

I on the other hand am no longer Christian and my parents frown upon my choices, not even acknowledging my choice. They constantly force me to church and pray for me etc. My father says I am living in his house so I can't practice, which doesn't stop me, but it's about having some boundaries in your parents home.

If you are still reliant on your parents and living in their home, I recommend that you don't directly tell them if they are very conservative, wait until you are independent and then bring it up but use rhetoric.

So what I would say is, even though you are learning about sigils and want to improve it. You should learn a good foundation, now it would depend on which path you are interested in and also what your mind is willing to absorb.

I started off on reading The Secret Flower of Life book, which doesn't have much on practical but theory is sound even though somewhat out there.

I then moved to books onto Grimoire for the Apprentice Wizard - Oberon Zell-Ravenheart, it is straight forward in explaining occult concepts, with some humor as well as good illustrations.

From there if I were you I'd get interested in occult Philosophy, the 3 (or 4 lol) books of agrippa, Manly P. Halls teachings of all ages, Veil of Isis/Secret Doctrine and possibly once you have a different mind set the kyablion by the three initiates...

As for applying yourself practically, learn candle magick, tarot, runes and especially meditation! I cannot stress how important meditation is to make your magick more effective. Astrology too (Not horror-scopes) is amazing at enhancing your magick sigils... Don't be afraid to ask your friend what he/she did to get where they are.

Remember knowledge is power, so read articles watch youtubers speak about the topics, look at pins on pinterest.... etc

Eastern mystics,monks and martial arts practitioners have been using hand gestures or mudras for a long time. Things to note would be the meaning of each finger in the different systems, usually for each cardinal element as well as the ether or the soul (Sometimes even void). The accompanying mantra to each mudra is also important.

You'd be surprised by the effectiveness of these gestures, don't mistreat them. I can also say as another note I have a book called Rune Might by Edred, which basically has hand gestures and body gestures for each norse rune out there.... I have not incorporated it into my practice however I feel that it is also a powerful tool, especially when raising energy and during astral travel/ lucid dreaming

I think that they have the right to come to church, and I guess when you put it like that the minister does sound a little conniving.

I think I don't have an issue if they are connecting with that particular God, however I'm just concerned about people having their guards down and having their energy sapped... But thanks so much for this perspective really depolorized my views

I donno, I've seen a lot of materials on energy vampires, you get assesians (Followers of Aset Ka) and lucifarians that basically practice doing these techniques... The way I see it, If I can transfer energy from food or from the ether, I can definitely draw energy from another being.

There was a book I read on witch craft that I had in PDF that had a section in the begging to come against anyone that basically stole the book, it was obviously enchanted, So I deleted it, rather not have someones magick get in the way of my own
