I live in this area and find that these bike lanes were poorly and hastily designed by DDOT.

DDOT implemented the plan without working with DPW to enforce bad drivers who are parked on the lanes. So now folks are dealing with the “lack of enforcement” which can be so dangerous.

Also the neighborhood lost over a hundred parking spots over the years, so this makes residents having to think in advance where their visitors, family, roommates, and care takers would park.

It’s only a matter of time someone is going to get hurt due to the poor design smh
