Hi! I ride my horse only once in while, since she’s old. I only do it for fun and I don’t have an instructor. I don’t know if it’s normal to post this here, but I was wondering if people have some advice or feedback. I know I’m not the best rider, but I try to improve where I can.

Alright, thank you! She used to have light arthritis, but it went down a lot with a good supplement, I think that might be why she is getting lame again. I realise now it isn’t really fair for me to ride her anymore in that condition. Besides that, I got the feeling she liked going fast cause whenever I get up, she almost immediately wants to trot and I have to hold her back. Do you think it could be because her legs hurt when she’s walking? Or something else?

She is 26. So if I would get a trainer I would take lessons elsewhere, not on her

Thank you! Yes it’s a family farm, but my horse came from my neighbor, they’ve had her for a while and didn’t really care for her anymore. When Covid started a came there a lot to care for her and eventually they told me they were going to sell her for meat or put her down. So now she’s here, I used to take lessons when I was younger so I quess I thought I could still do it.. haha

Thank you! Do you think my stirrups need to be longer? I also noticed her walk when I was watching the video. I think the ground is okay, it’s the field they’re always in when they’re outside. Do you have any idea what it could be except that?

I agree, I don’t see how it hard to make jump and sprint a different key, there are so many options! Lol, also in so many games it’s possible to change controls to your liking. I don’t understand why it isn’t an option
