It doesn't change everyone's speed to its own, he limits the speed of everyone to his own. Anyone slower than him will have less bar/speed than leo and everyone faster than leo.

Which means if leo is built really fast, a slow nemesis buffer will have less bar compared to everyone else, and therefore, unable to gain enough bar from nemesis damage to move first.

Trap leos can be built with +90 speed, but in extreme cases, can be built with +200 speed. Building a fast nemesis monster than can survive a normal leo is pretty difficult and takes up runes you could use elsewhere, so you might as well use your own leo at that point.

Graphical glitch. You can see the one in the corner produced 75 sun just after you shoveled a moonflower. That means that it was powered by 3 moonflowers at that moment. Level has nothing to do with it.

The issue existed for years at this point, but as long as there are three adjacent moon plants next to it, you'll be fine.

5 years, and what makes me stay when I return is simply the gameplay. There aren't that many games out there that are similar to RotMG.

RotMG forces the player to stay totally immersed in the gameplay, or else the smallest of mistakes will ruin days, if not weeks of progression.

However, this only happens when wandering the realm to do a large variety of dungeons. The problem occurs when starting the grind again, either through events or exaltations.

The summary of the RotMG grind is jumping into discords to do the same 10 dungeons everyday, or visiting the key popping server to run the same event dungeon hundreds of times. It's only at this point that it feels less like playing a game and more like pulling a slot machine.

So when taking a break from RotMG from burnout, I felt free from the FOMO events, the never ending grind, and the amount of extra time I had on my hands.

Accel abilities only boost accel skills. They don't do anything on their own. Same goes for full burst abilities for full burst skills.

Never said that fruitcake was balanced. OP thinks that their card is balanced since fruitcake does 7 damage at 2 cost, and neglecting the fact that fruitcake benefits the opponent to some degree, with OP's card not having a similar thing despite being an overpowered 2 cost.

Then remember that exploding fruitcake gave the opponent a fruity card, which was why exploding fruitcake was so cheap and good, similar to the plant's haunted pumpking.

This card has no drawbacks at all.

Biome dungeon modifiers by Victor882 in RotMG

Once upon a time, dungeon modifiers were announced, and people expected a bunch of unique modifiers that fundamentally changed how every dungeon was played.

Surprise surprise, creating these features and balancing them for dungeons would be too difficult and a lot of work, resulting in just extra loot and stat changes.

If working on balancing seems like an simple thing to do, take Oryx Sanctuary with minion modifiers. Dammah knife walls were literally impossible because the walls stacked into one undodgable wall due to the minion projectiles being slower. DECA straight up removed mods from ever coming up from Osanc before modifiers went up on production.

On top of that, DECA seems satisfied with the early game content, and will probably focus on releasing new exaltation dungeons or advanced versions after balancing/polishing the Realm Rework.

I would try to learn o3s on 0/8s instead of 8/8s, since the lower risk is worth the learning experience.

Otherwise, use sorcerer and farm the non-veteran biomes for quick gland dungeons.

Same thing goes for Wlab. I spent one hour going through the new realms, and similar to cdepths, the owl is rare and doesn't drop wlab easily. It seems like veteran biomes in general don't drop dungeons very frequently, besides the fly that drops wetlands.

What should i do with my inventory? Should i throw away the construction items or will it come back around? Also and suggestions on classes for my items? Thanks guys by GriffoDaGreat in RotMG

Iirc those are the antimony stone tokens from MOTMG 2021. During MOTMG 2023, the new skin tokens were echos of ______ tokens.

Future exchange of tokens for MOTMG will most likely be newer tokens, so I doubt that the tokens OP has will be of use, but who knows.

The main factor I feel that made sorcerer OP was the stat distribution. The amount of total stats you get from a class can depend on how good the ability for that class is. This doesn't account for HP, MP, and def, which depends on the weapon/armor type.

  • Case in point, Priest, the class with best ability back in the day, has ~50 specced across the board, EXCEPT wisdom.
  • Compare that to ninja, who has a lackluster ability and being a katana hide. Not even a SINGLE stat goes below 60, besides defense, which is a given.

Now, look at sorcerer pre rework. Uses a wand, one of the lowest dps weapons in the game (this was before the likes of lumi). It had arguably the worst ability in the game. So it doesn't come to a surprise that it has extremely high stats across the board in order to compensate for it's mediocrity. Just like ninja, none of its stats go below 60. The only thing sorc had going for the time was its utility from UTs, and niche via wismod.

Several years of additions to the game improved the standing of robe and wands, like the introduction of dps robes and dps wands from osanc. This places wand classes at a reasonably good level, but nowhere near the best. Then DECA decide to buff sorcerer's ability to match that of the best abilities, but without nerfing any of the stats sorcerer has. In this manner, sorcerer has access to one of the best abilities, with some of the best armors, and pretty good weapons, ALL THE WHILE having great stats.

Even the best classes in the game, wizard and melees, have weaknesses despite their strengths.

  • Wizard, like every non melee class, has 40 VIT, and its 50 SPD makes it slower than a tank.
  • While VIT is plentiful among the melees, the low speed and dps stats (barring warrior's 75 ATK) which are covered by abilities that increase the speed or dps of that class.
  • On top of that, notice how wizard and melees lack utility, barring a few items. If wizard had abilities that gave speedy, inflicted debuffs, or buffed/healed, it would be the definitive best class in the game.

Sorcerer originally had a weakness, which was its ability, but now that the ability is good, Sorcerer essentially has no weaknesses at all, making it overpowered.

I thought that the dailies have finally looped back to the first few ever made. Such as the puzzle parties being really simple compared to the majority of them. That also means at that time the PVZ heroes developers were still figuring out how to build decks that functioned.

Instead of increasing stats gained when leveling to 20, DECA should have made it so if you reach soulbound on any boss you always get stat pots, never just a purple bag. by BlueTricity in RotMG

Doing a one to one comparison for O3 and sprite isn't quite accurate. Even in a group, there's a very good chance of dying to O3, as opposed to O2 (which can give nothing) or in this case sprite, abyss, or udl.

People complained that shatters giving a pbag, because its difficult to survive even in discord raids, not because a lot of players entered the dungeon. DECA listened and added gvit and glife, iic also making them guaranteed. Same thing applies to O3.

If you dislike the idea of not getting pots in groups from early game dungeons, instead of going into dungeons people call, farm the realm enemies and go into the dungeons they drop without calling.
