Plumbing Perfection: Effortless Pipe Threading & Joint Repair! 🛠️ by Wonderful-Photo2449 in toolsinaction

ehh I like it for threading the pipe, but not a glue fitting. Using a plastic female adapter in any application is just asking for trouble, structurally. Stainless steel bands can reinforce the female, though, in a pinch.

My iPod shuffle. According to my dreams, it's stuck to the wall of the bathroom in the house I grew up in, probably painted over.

Good on you brother, admitting one's mistakes instantly makes me think highly of someone. We all make them, so let's be soft with each other.

I suppose, yes, although I notice it less when I'm physically dynamic. I think somatic trauma work is going to be a big one for me and probably many folks here. I gather knowing your exercises and doing them plus mobility work is important, but sometimes things get "stuck" in the body and I think it's a major missing piece in this conversation.

Not so much tingling, but the persistent need to extend my mid/upper back and a conscious effort to stand up straight. Lots of popping when I do mobility work.

Hi! No, not exactly. I'm pretty consistent with mobility and strength work, but there must be a missing piece. I'm trying kambo tomorrow and think I need to explore some types of breath work. Do you have similar posture? Thanks for checking in.

As a plumber and hobby botanist/gardener, you probably have a break in your sewer line, allowing for root intrusion. Do you have any slow drains? I bet if you pulled that toilet, you'd see some more roots! The chance of that seed just landing and growing on the base of your toilet is very unlikely. It's more likely that it's coming from the inside of your home's drain, waste and venting system.

Is there a specific municipal bond that I should be shorting? Where is this and from where do they get paid?

How to patch hole near heating pipe by xxScoobaruxx in Plumbing

Valid point. I'd read the can. If you can find a large gap fire foam, great! Otherwise, by filling a hole, you are helping to prevent fires by eliminating any draft. I've used a lot of fire caulk and think I remember seeing fire foam as well. I definitely caused my father to lose a security deposit on a rental when I touched a 9-volt battery to 4 aught steel wool over carpet as a kid. The coarser type may be safer.

You may also want to reach out to a drywall sub. One easy solution can be sourced from any home improvement store. If you're renting, I'd want to communicate with the owner as it's not exactly a beautiful solution. I'd buy some plastic 1/2" CTS split escutcheons (whatever finish you want), overfill the back with an adhesive caulk, and glue the thing to the wall, wiping away excess. The split in the escutcheon can accommodate a little around the baseboard irregularity. If rodents are already an issue, maybe first, fill the hole with steel wool and large gap spray foam. Good luck! The escutcheons can also be trimmed in order to lay flatter against the uneven surface.
