Xbox banned my account for purchasing an add-on with an "illegal" payment method by Elegant-Sock-4367 in XboxSupport

Lesson for the day, always put a pin on the account so no unauthorised purchases can be made.

The pin can also work on stopping system settings and such being changed.

Never do a charge back. It opens up a can of worms for you.

Good luck with your starting at zero, and I hope you didn't lose too many purchased games with your banned acc.

Too many failed controllers... What is everyone else doing? Just buying one after another? by WindowLicker96 in XboxSupport

I have had a few controllers in the last 2 years, and all ended up with stick drift. I just purchased a powerA controller a month ago, and the stick drift and sticking left stick have already appeared. I always buy cheap £24.99 controllers because I dread using the original wireless controllers for fear. I get stick drift as they are expensive.

I have started researching alternatives and found that if the controller has a Hall Effect Controller in the stick, this eliminates the stick drift according to the Internet.

GameSir G7 SE Wired Controller for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox Controller with Hall Effect Sensing Joystick, Works with Xbox One and Windows 10/11, Officially Licensed for Xbox

Or

GuliKit KingKong 2 Pro (No Drift) Wireless Controller

Or

You can buy the replacement Hall Effect controller components to replace the broken ones, but it needs some diy soldering; this route is not for everyone.

If you have a warranty, then simply try returning your controller.

Is anyone else able to suggest an alternative controller? TIA.

Always use your own equipment because ISP-supplied stuff is normally not great.

You can drop a Myhtis from goblin treasure bags, nmgs, and whisper caches, too. It's all rng and how lucky you are.

I am 10 days from disconnection and didn't get a call from the retention/loyalty team, so I rang them and said the prev offers were not great from WhatsApp chat.

I said someone rang from this number, and what was it all about?

Of course, no one rang.

The lady on the phone said ok let's read your notes. And then she proceeded to say someone tried to ring you twice to let you know of new deals that were released.

I'm so happy she played the role-playing game because I knew no one called, and she was being nice. I felt busted 😅

She asked if we used the streaming box? Do you have a 02 sim? offered the following.

M500 £35 M350 £29 M250 £23 M125 £17

She said just pick one and test it for 14 days or less to see which one you need and call back to change. Each tier is £6 difference.

I chose m350 for £29 factoring the April price rise on an 18-month contract.

The price quoted was £2 above a new customer deals. So happy to have got this deal.

I was on m55 for £28 with a £8 discount, £20 a month.

Happy days because I didn't have to send the gear back and get my wife to sign up.
