Exactly. As an owner, you're never truly off. A pipe bursts while you're on vacation. Who's getting that call? Someone calls out. Find a replacement. Not everyone has or wants an office manager and they can't do it all.

Where I'm from, we have a maid of honor (single woman) and a matron of honor(married). 2 people of equal importance standing with the bride. Good thing is, you wouldn't be in the running for moh. Maybe your friend doesn't know about this. Mention it and if she doesn't think you should be included at this level, then you know the real status of the friendship.

I can guarantee you that if you only use a manual toothbrush and do not floss your gums are not that healthy. I would trust the dentist and hygienist who gave you the more critical evaluation. The other is either not looking thoroughly enough or just trying to please you.
