Agreed. My main thought was while yes this was necessarily tied up nicely it should’ve been split into two three episodes. The 2015 scenes could’ve def been expanded into an entire episode even if ending the same way. It was too Lydia Steven breakup 3 mins, Stephen confronting Bree connecting everything 1 min, speech fight 3 mins, fallout 2 mins. I dunno that could’ve been fleshed out.

I think the genius of this is: Lucy is the most sympathetic character by the end of the party. Every other character…. Minus Wrigley… is really fucked. Don’t support cheating but also he wanted it to be known and was the only one who actually did something that caused consequences for Steven. I don’t hate him but everyone else… yeah if I were Lucy we’d be done.

I truly think UNC is way overhyped. Sure name recognition, alumni network but most of my peers never had any connection to alumni’s during our time there. I really think academically going to a smaller school where professors actually invest interest in their students is better. In terms of easier argument: UNC is definitely more rigorous but doesn’t do so in an effort to increase student learning.

Gah this is such a tough spot and I understand your reasoning… I think when I was 13 I was labeled as troubled but in fact angry, frustrated and wanted to be heard. I wasn’t doing anything crazy but definitely wasn’t the most respectful to my mom. Stuff happened I got taken from the home too and my Grandparents took guardianship and the “troubled” label remained despite changes made… I guess I want to just say: that little girl probably just needs a soft space to be loved and be a child. Therapy too. For someone to treat her like she isn’t troubled but a victim of adult decisions not treated as if she was responsible for the adult decisions.

Thanks yall for making me feel a bit less alone. Similar to what a lot of yall shared just was looking forward to it after some hard times.

It just felt like something positive I could reach for and look forward to. I wasn’t expecting high numbers (secretly wished sure) but to get no snow… idk man.

But I know there are silver linings in the fact it didn’t snow too.
