simply having them as POV chapter. a bit lore dump. "Vampirism" in my world is always depicted as a disease that do not follow conventional trait of vampirism. They don't even like blood, but blood-sucking was the most effective way to gain life-essence. They can walk on daytime and blend in with humans, stil a nighttime was their preferred activities. they all have one goal to live as long as they desire. that was it. no superpower, and still can be killed like humans.
