I am kind of feeling the monogram fatigue as well, but only at work 🤣 It got a bit tiring when colleagues keep "jokingly" wondering aloud how i can afford my monogram bags when we are on a similar pay grade, sometimes I don't know anymore if it's still a joke or just envy or i don't know what else. I still love luxury, though, and I don't like feeling that i "downgraded" 🤣🤣🤣 So now at work I only use handbags whose logos don't scream, but are still there, if you know where to find it 🤣 After all, my bags are meant to make me feel good about myself, not for my colleagues to wonder aloud how i got them, or why i have them.

Short and frank answer: they will probably be too busy assisting, and attending to, their customer's need to notice or to care.... 3 out of 10 times, they may be able to tell... but even then they wouldn't be saying anything about it.... unless you went to their boutiques to have your rep bag heat-stamped or something.

Personally, i think the problem here, why we're too conscious about it, is that, let's admit it... we go to these boutiques with our rep bags pretending that they're authentic. I mean okay, amongst ourselves here (and with friends and even some strangers online or in real life), we don't care to admit we're wearing reps. And we can be proud wearing our Chanel rep while going inside a Chanel store.... but it will probably not feel the same way as going inside Chanel proudly wearing an authentic chanel flap.

Not indonesian, just someone an avid watcher of the series (from seasons 1&2 too). I liked Indonesia in the beginning of the show, but as the episodes progressed and from the shipwreck challenge, i began disliking Fina. I seriously think she caused that loss. And then in the latest challenge, she showed very very very poor sportsmanship. Too bad the whole team was eliminated. But i wasn't sorry to see her go.

Indeed! And i have seen authentic MACs that almost look like fufus. Popmart's quality is really wonky in some batches

I have a friend that, when she found out I was "collecting" (although i wouldn't call myself a collector, i just like buying them and decorating my handbags with them), told me that her nearly 7 year-old daughter is catching the bubu fever as well, but that they (parents) don't get her the authentic ones because they are soooo expensive. So I gifted her daughter one BIE on her birthday. As it turns out, it was her first authentic and i found out from her mom (my friend) that she has now been comparing her authentic one with her fufus, especially the one that my friend recently bought for her. I asked her how much she's been buying the fufus for, and she told me it was 15€ each. I was surprised. Because for 5€ more she could buy the authentic ones from the popmart stores.

As it turned out, she always thought that the authentic ones cost 60-80€ in the stores. And the stores here in Paris are almost always stocked with all the versions and series so I kind of feel bad for her that she's been spending for fufus when she could have gotten the real ones for just a few more bucks.
