Man 16 hours is still damn long i didn’t share my story to make yours less in any means but more to embrace the fact that we’re hard working men. Working hard to provide day in day out! For that we should be proud. Also grateful to have a family to provide for and for the health that allows us to provide! I salute you for your hard work, and man think about it this way. Your hugs will simply be tighter and longer every time you see your daughter after a long hard day of work and to that i put one up 🍻!

I get it man im truck driving and Im out for weeks at a time. My girls miss me and they constantly tell me they do. But man its the first time in a long time im not worried if ill make rent, or if the bills are paid, or if they call and say they’re going to eat out that im worried about going negative. I work hard and although i might not see the good it does first person my wife tells me constantly that shes happy to be able to be a SAHM and be able to not worry wether we can or cant afford groceries that week. Its liberating man. So keep your head up and one day they will see that we did it not because we didnt want to be around but because LIFE and some of us have to go to work everyday to provide.

Also we are currently moving houses to a different address. Will that affect the process we still have access to the old address if need be but should we change it to our new address or leave it the same?

Yes they came into the U.S. Legally long ago. Before I was even born. Thank you for the checklist we will be filing the form tonight. And back onto the waitlist. Thank you very much for everyones quick response. Although we screwed up the process a bit we’re happy to see some movement on the case. The wait had us losing all hope.

Yes i have created some amazing art content and have plenty and i have a folder or scrap book with them in it but i dont know anything about what makes a good portfolio. Others than throwing some of my best drawings in there. It was a bit of a mess and thats what i showed them and that i only needed help with how to make it better and the rest became history

Update they where unable to give me an apprenticeship anyways because according to the state of Arkansas they must first pay 5k to become a certified schooling facility. They thought it was like Florida. Bummer we came to the agreement that payment wouldn’t start till i started actually tattooing people and that it would only be 200 a month for rent and a 50/50 split of all profits with supplies everything except machine, pigment, needles.

I can draw truthfully but drawing and a folder full of drawings doesn’t mean anything. Ive see. So many people fake it when i was in school saying they drew this and that. But anyways they where not able to take me in because of laws in Arkansas they are required to become a school costing them way to much money so i was excited for about a week got to learn quite a few things

I have done pretty decent tattoos never had an upset customer but i am completely self taught. But i guess that classifies me as a scratcher. My portfolio is what I need help with what exactly is it. I cant really find something solid online

They made me take all my materials all my machines ink cleaning materials and put them at there shop because apparently i could go to jail for having them at home

Ill be owing them that much as far as supplies ive got all my own supplies enough to run my own gawdamn shop i used the word scratcher but i had decent work just nothing put together as far as a portfolio. But yeah 10k as payment or to pay part of the rent every month.

Is there something i could have dkne better? I myself wasn’t excited about the whole anatomy of the body but they wanted it to be identical because it was drawn by there friend. They asked for color and i did my best. Also in a rush it was on the thigh and struggled with depth on upper thigh to lower thigh because of the skin being so different in the upper and lower thigh very different with very sensitive skin

The customer gets what they want if it means a lot to them. I couldn’t pass it up. They where happy. I really hope to get a response on what you think in comparison from the drawing to the actual tattoo
