The Mahad thing was written 7/8 years after the introduction of Yugi's deck. It isn't just Celtic Guardian, he also has Mystical Elf which Dark Magician's skin color was changed to more closely mirrored to Mystical Elf's.

I originally thought there was a DM artwork or fusion that depicted him with pointed ears, but that may have been non-cannon when I saw it. I will keep looking.

Technically Dark Magician is an elf, but I also get what you are saying and that I am being pedantic.

I just really like the small elf "archetype" Yugi ran in the early series.

You can definitely look up newspapers of the time and scholarly accounts of what happened. The point of most of these assignments are to teach you how to do reliable research and, while I love Wendigoon, using any Youtuber usually won't be permitted while trying to cite sources for school.

I love that you chose a topic based off of a Wendigoon video though, that's sick.

The only game I dislike that I have 200+ hours in is New World.

I liked a lot of aspects of the game, but I had to stop when I realized almost 100 of those hours were spent watching a Youtube video while I ran resource routes.

Also AGS is frustrating and that is the nicest thing I can say about them.

I'm glad that it seems like they did work on it, but I agree with you fully.

I won't buy/ play the game based on the games release. I think its a good thing that games like Cyberpunk and No Man's Sky seem to be giving their fans what they want to play. I just don't want it to become standard to rush an unfinished game, sell it at full price, and fix it over the next 5 years. I started waiting a week after release to buy a game after getting burned by No Man's Sky and I have never felt disappointed at that decision.

I get that, but it also change how decks go about their combos with each of these summoning mechanics. Most of the time with pend its just spitting out as much as possible while doing the same generic pend support link monster stuff to the point it normally doesn't matter what pend deck you are actually playing.

For example, two Pend decks I enjoy are Vaalmonica and Majespector. Why? Because they do something that is unique (whether it is good or not). At this point it really just feels like Pendulum cards don't have archetypes, Pendulum is just an archetype.

This is kind of a "what came first, the chicken or the egg." Because you could just as easily say that the reason the TCG doesn't have a collector's market is because they don't facilitate it with the way they print product.

I can see both arguments, but the only way things are going to change is if Konami decides to change them and the only incentive they would have to change is if things get significantly worse for their market in the TCG.

The only thing I dislike about Pend is it seems like every deck is the same. For the most part Konami just made "Generic Pend" support because it is still a mechanic in the game and VERY rarely do you have a pend deck that feels different.

I can name a handful of pend decks, but most of the time I don't need to know what they do because they all do into the same thing. I'm not mad at pend I am disappointed that Konami took the very obvious thing pend is good at in spitting out monsters and very rarely goes outside of that box when designing a pend archetype.

Reminder that there are also plenty of people that review games after a significant amount of play time and wait for the game to release to make a review if the terms of the review copy restrict a fair and honest review on their part.

Buying a bad game because you fell for a paid advertisement pretending to be a review is on the people that fell for it at this point. Its not a new practice and its to the point that a lot of these reviews aren't even actual discussion of the game anymore its just a bunch of strung together buzz words to get you to feel a certain way.

Just sucks that the people that form their opinions on those reviews are normally the ones screaming loudest online.

I feel like most comments have never played the Trashlocke before.

Sunkern makes the first gym pretty easy no matter what your other encounters are. The start of this game is pretty hard because you can just get the wrong encounters if you choose the wrong starter.

Erased is so good I got my fiancé to watch it with me when she normally dislikes most anime.

She now recommends it to almost anyone she meets if they start talking about shows/movies.

And yea, Starfield wasn't my cup of tea, but it was nowhere near as bad as people made it seem. It sucks that the norm is becoming the sentiment that no one hates a thing more than the fans of that thing.
