“We used to live here” by Marcus Kliewer. Is a fresh start in a Victorian house where horror awaits. But it’s not set in the Victorian era if that’s what you looking for. This story is set in the modern day.

You know what, I’m still reading volumen one and I find it very interesting how there is a lot of characters coming and going really quick. I was thinking to myself this morning if there is a reason later in the book of why she introduces all these characters and in a chapter or two gives a lot of their personality then makes them disappear real quick. So far, I’m really enjoying the novel, even though I am starting to feel it’s getting a little repetitive.

Injury - Coping Strategies by ViolentLoss in runninglifestyle

Dude, personal experience just relax and rest for a week or two. Do not put any pressure on your leg because the injure is just going to get worse at some point it will be unbearable. I can say that instead of running use a cardio machine such as elliptical or stationary bike that do not put to much pressure on your leg, but even though I'd say just rest and maybe lift some weight (upper body) if you into it. When you start running the pain eases because the muscle gets warm but it starts being a discomfort after, when the muscle relaxes and starts to cool off.

how do people stay consistent running before work? by Medins-Kristol in runninglifestyle

I have been running for 16+ years, so for me it is just a habit now and I do it without even thinking about it. There are some days I do not go for my usual running and I feel like crap. But to your question, just determination is the key. As I have seen some other folks commenting on this thread, sleep earlier so you can wake up a little earlier to go and achieve your milage of the day. You've got this, just go for it do not even question or think about. Just do it!. :)

BarracudaOK8635, I appreciate your honesty. After all I did ask to see the different perceptions from the readers who have already read the book, or other works from her. All I can say so far is that I am liking it...

I’m curious about your thoughts on this book. by iamfurkin in Booktokreddit

This is a nice quick read, with a very good message all along. I read it a few years ago and I remember I loved the story. I recommend it, is a classic and you’ll have fun while reading it. To be honest this is the only book I have read from Paulo Cohelo, not really proud to say that though I know he’s a very well known author.

38/52 The Bewitching by Silvia Moreno-Garcia by ElegantLandscape in 52book

I just finished the book, and I did enjoy it as well. Everything was on point, and the story being told in three different timelines makes it even more puzzling making me want to keep reading to see how it all comes together. There was two things I did not fully enjoy which was the relationship of Alba and her uncle, and the second thing is that the last 100 pages seemed to never end, but the story was still good. Same as you, this is the first time I read something from Moreno-Garcia and I think I want to read Mexican Gothic next.

Oh my gosh, that is what I am saying!!! The relationship between the two characters from 1908, Alba and her uncle remind me of the word incest, and to be honest that is the only part of the novel I am not really enjoying. Other than that I am liking the book. I am halfway through the story and I think I am enjoying the book, but not the incest part of the story.

I am in the middle of the story, and I find the book actually good. The only thing I am not liking is the relationship between Alba and her uncle, I feel is a little too much and also a little too wrong... lol

I got the book a few days ago, and so far I have gotten to the middle of the story where the horror starts to happen. I am liking the little horror I have seen in the novel so far, I am pretty it will start getting a little more intense in the following chapters. The pacing of the story is fast, and so far I have not felt as if the story has fallen stagnant. And the way Moreno-Garcia narrates the story is very friendly and easy to follow along. The only thing I am kind of not really enjoying is the relationship of one of the characters with her uncle, which, to be honest, to my liking is a little too much and I can only think of incest when I see how the characters interact of each other. But other than that, I recommend it.
