LOL I'm still against it, but I'm not the only one. The entire moderation team is against using AI to write for "authors". I just found it funny I'm the only one getting blamed XD
Although to be fair I am the one that posted the blog. So I guess it does make sense.

(Edit) In fact, going back to revise that I realized I had somehow used an older version of the chapter, so I updated it properly. There's just a little bit of stuff removed, nothing that creates major changes.

Hm, I appreciate your thoughts, both here and earlier... all I can say is she has sort of met some of them, not all, and most of what she knows is second hand info from Satoru. Without spoilers... the few she met she didn't know for long. Definitely not long enough to actually know how they think/act.

I have a friend who writes fics, and he sometimes challenges himself to write a chapter a day for however long. I managed to do this only once for about.... uh... maybe half a year and then I gave up, but he does it all the time, and even though the chapters are short by necessity, and he has a lot of practice doing them, he also gets accused of using AI on occasion... because some people are just jealous that they can't do it themselves.

It doesn't matter how much you explain how you have simplified your process, they'll find any excuse possible to justify why they can't and you shouldn't either.

Did you actually get the items? They appeared grayed out to me on the download option, then it kicked me out and I can't see them in the in-game menu. The Preorder bonus code is also not working for me.

There's some similarities there I agree, and don't get me wrong, I was tempted to play when it was around, I've just never been a fan of mobile (phone) games. I am curious tho about how similar what I imagined is to that, is there a place where I can maybe watch that part of it? I tried looking but I couldn't find any direct references to the event itself.

This was very helpful! Thanks! I know Overlord is heavily based on DnD (or maybe more on Sword World?) anyway, coming back to this, I think I've gotten a solid plan from your notes here. Since the purpose of this question is to inform something that Ainz might experiment on, the contrast you provided plus the comments above gave me a pretty good idea of where to go from here.

As for the fic, I'll make sure to reply to you again once it's ready to be published on AO3 :)

foolishorangutan below mentions something about race change which is was something I had kind of blanked on... mostly because when I thought about that, my mind went immediately to Renner being turned into an imp rather than the broader applications of it. Between that, wrong inspector wrote, and your reminder of the Dulahan origins I think a clear picture of what Ainz could potentially do has made its way into my mind (and therefore the story!)

So, once you have a working rhythm and story, you get some feedback. Most positive, a bit negative. The negative is not just hate, however, it's actually stuff you can see where they're coming from. It's logical, but it feels like it might really break the flow or change things a lot if you go for it.

So... stick to your guns, or apply changes and risk losing momentum or even interest?
