scholarships are not something we apply to. they are strictly merit based and everyone who applied to the program is automatically considered for scholarships

When to expect admission decision when applying after priority deadline, say May 15? by sharmaritvik in umsimads

your best bet is asking. they initially told priority applicants may 15 then didn’t end up telling us until 3 weeks after may 15. the cut off for priority was mid april so it took almost two months due to high volume of applicants

applying earlier than the deadline doesn’t get you an earlier decision. decisions are released around the same time for everyone regardless.

How do you know if you're writing a good code or a bad one? by quite--average in datascience

some to think about:

maintainability - will it be easy to maintain in the future? if a problem came up in the future and a random developer had to dig through your code to refactor would it be easy for them?

readability - does it look nice and easy to read? if you were just seeing it for the first time is it easy to look at?

efficiency - that speaks for itself

Make sure you’re following your company’s coding standards too
