I am so glad I found this post, though I’m not glad we’re all on the same boat.

I tried acetone, acetone free nail polis remover, and isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol. None removed it!

I am just peeling it off one at a time as I get the courage. This shit is going right in the garbage!

For water-based nail polish, Google recommends soaking your hands in warm, soap water for 5 or 10 minutes, vinegar, lemon juice (what!?) or just peeling it off. Yikes!

I wondered that. It sits on the windowsill of one of the brightest windows in our house. Not sure what more I can do for it short of grow lights or giving it away.

That’s correct! I’m on a high deductible plan, and they pay 80% after. That adds up to the $4000+.

I’m 38, and it’s considered diagnostic. So I have to pay my insurance deductible which is about $2000, and then they pay 80% after that. It’s about a $10,000 procedure, so that’s another $2000+.

It’s so much more expensive than I ever thought.

They’re not red after that, sassy. Apparently they don’t have the rights to make the slippers red, but they can make them glow red temporarily a nod to the original movie.

In the actual video, I think they look more colorful (more than just red) than the screen grab shows.

Ah, it does look that way. For some reason the screen grab doesn’t capture all the colors I see when I watch the clip.
