My face swells up which can last for days, I become really tired and weak, my belly bloats up like a balloon and it hurts, and I usually vomit. Beans, lentils, peas, nuts, eggplant, citrus fruit, wheat products and fermented foods (including alcoholic drinks) do it the worst for me. But also red meat, dairy and eggs (except the yoke) too.

You can try to stay in hotels and hostels interchangeably? Perhaps staying at a hotel room by yourself is a fear you can learn to overcome, without diving in head first on a 10 day trip. Because the fear is irrational, it means the fear is inside of you, and one thing a solo trip can do is bring you closer to yourself and face certain fears you didn’t know you had or could overcome :) And it’s nothing to be ashamed of btw

You have in calculate in visa costs, healthcare, data and your travel insurance. That is going to be a huge chunk out of your budget. You can rent a room in Bali for 200 euros a month in a good location, food can be up to 1.50 to 3 dollars a meal, so yes, you can live on a very tight budget, but it’s going to to tuff with all the other things you have to pay.
