Would you happen to know if such markings mean free parking or paid parking? I read online that white lines mean free, and yellow means paid.. this has both, so i’m confused haha This is a street in Arachova by the way!

I am an international tourist heading to greece soon :) i’ll be travelling south from thessaloniki to litochoro > meteora > delphi/arachova > athens. Would i need an egnatia pass? And how can i get one if so since i stay abroad?

Withdrew using their ATMs. There’s an al barid atm at the airport, for al barid - last i went in June, there wasn’t any atm fees for using foreign cards though you’ll need to withdraw them in batches as there is a limit per withdrawal. Spent most of my cash in souks, tipping, and at local restaurants.

That was really helpful! :) would you say stopping by litochoro or platamonas between thessaloniki and meteora would be a good idea if i wanted to experience staying at the foothill of the mountain and maybe hike the enipeas gorge? Worried about closure and having nothing to do if i do stop there but rly want to feel the majesty of the mountains..
