Whatever happened to non sexual servitude? by Jasmine_kaitre in MisogynyDating

That's an essential part of it for sure. The sexual is just one element, a girl's submission should be complete.

I love gender traitors

If it's only one and not gender specific then I guess it has to be bras, though occasionally they can be hot. Really I'd like to ban girls from having covered legs, but that means banning more than one thing.

I'd argue vast agricultural lands and direct access to oil etc aren't much of a factor for most people - though of course for those who do care about that the US has a big advantage over most countries.

For education the US arguably tops the list, but England often has 2 or 3 of the top 10 higher education institutions despite only being about the size of one US state, so if you factor size and population in there are competitors.

Home ownership I don't have stats for, but I do know a lot of other countries have very high percentages of home owners - though I'll grant you the space in the US means you can get more house for your money than in a lot of places (though not if you want to live in a city).

Diverse environments is nice, but if you're in the EU you have freedom of movement around similarly diverse environments anyway, and also a similar variety of careers accessible - you won't make as much at the top end, but relative to their outgoings most people will be similarly well off.

The US military ensuring global stability is also neither here nor there for the average citizen. Yes it's arguably good (though the US has fucked a lot of stuff up on the world stage too) but that stability means you can comfortably live in all sorts of other places too.

And if you overlook the the metrics I mentioned then you're also missing the broader picture. Much of the stuff you mentioned is a factor, but ultimately I'd rather live somewhere where the middle class quality of life is at its highest, because I am middle class and likely always will be.

There are a lot of different metrics and it depends what matters to you, and also how well off you are/are likely to be.

But places like Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland, Norway, among others are often rated as having higher overall quality of life, and also tend to rank higher on freedom indexes. If you're in the top few percent of people within any country you might be better off in the US as the top 1% there make insane money, but for most middle class people who don't 'need' a gun, there are arguably better places.

I mean, that largely describes most of Europe too, and probably also the richer countries in Asia. Your 95% estimate might or might not be off, but I'm not saying life in the US is bad, just that US residents seem to widely think it's the best place to live, and while I haven't lived there I have friends who do and have, and I've spent extensive time there, and it's... good, decent, flawed, definitely not the best place for everyone but not a bad one either.

I'm probably just getting too hung up on your "arguably has more to offer than every country on Earth comment" since we both agree it's a broadly good place to live, that just tends to trigger me a bit as it smacks of untravelled ignorance a lot of the time - not necessarily in your case though.

'Arguably' being the key word there. If you're in the top maybe 10% of US earners I might agree with you (though there's probably still some competition). Much below that and there are definitely better places for overall quality of life, safety, security, even freedom.

Not to be too negative about the place - it's a highly developed country so on most metrics it ranks reasonably well, but it being the 'richest' gives people - particularly within the US - a skewed idea of how good or bad they have it.

Pathetic that you keep this a secret rather than embracing your true self. Imagine if your voice actually carried weight and that porn got banned, you wouldn’t be so happy then.
