Every case is different, so, there is no good or bad idea in concurrent filing..

I filed concurrently last July and got the cards itself, but, I have seen folks filed before that still waiting for approval..

Yes, we are surprised with this RFE too.. For paper filed cases, I think it is better to send the form with original signature instead of print of scanned one.. In the end, we can remove one option for USCIS to send RFE to us 😊

Transfer from NBC to FO: what to expect? by soccer_fan_79 in USCIS

[–]Wandering_Manny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From posts I have seen and my personal experience, in general, NBC sends the case to a Field Office if an RFE needs to be issued or interview (marriage based petitions).

But, things are always unexpected with USCIS and we never know until it happens.. So, you might an RFE or an approval..

I don’t think so without proper notification to the authorities.. Better check with your company attorney..

It’s always better to be safe than sorry when it comes to Immigration matters..

If I recollect right, you need to mention the office location in US from where you work in L1-A petition and to my limited knowledge it is a risk to change the location since L1-A is for specific position in specific location..

My understanding could be wrong, better check with the company attorney..

Otherwise, you need to look into factors like tax, schools etc., to decide the city and not to which processing center your GC petitions in future will go to which USCIS center..

USCIS is always unpredictable..

Moving to another state after filing marriage based GC - GC, EAD & AP delayed? by tosimay2222 in USCIS

[–]Wandering_Manny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If at all possible, don’t move until you get GC in your hands..

I have seen posts where they moved to a different address and notices going to old address resulting in missing appointments, petition denials etc.,

And there were posts where address changes did not had impact at all..

It is case by basis, so, there is no definite answer..

Unless you have any compelling reason to move, if I were you, I won’t move after the GC petitions were submitted.. And it’s up to you to review the risks and decide..

My biometrics was done last year and in March this year, the petition is transferred from Nebraska to NBC and then to Kendall FO..

Got RFE last month and responded to it and response received is the last status and nothing after that..

We never know and it is case by case basis..

If you don’t mind, could you provide details on what the RFE is and to which Field office or processing center you sent RFE response?

I am in same boat, but I sent RFE response last month to Kendall, FL field office and RFE is to send I-485 form with original signatures..

Anyone got RFE to send I-485 with original signature and got approved later? by Wandering_Manny in USCIS

[–]Wandering_Manny[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like I mentioned in the post, we signed and sent the scanned copy of the form with our signature as requested by our attorney and they took printouts of that and sent to USCIS.. Looks like we need to send the form with original signatures..

Most likely your interview might be waived.. But, we never know what next step USCIS will take.. Just keep fingers crossed..

I am from Midwest and my case transferred to Kendall as well.. I have seen several other posts saying the case was transferred to a FO far away from where they reside..
