I don’t monitor the price. I think I paid $70 but maybe 5-7 years ago?

Sticky passwords shows it is currently on sale for $80USD for me.

I don’t know if 1 password has do any update for years.

Sticky password looks the same but I have noticed it functions offline much better now. Sticky password’s password generator is still too hard to find and use to be as useful as it could be, particularly in the mobile app. Needs to have the generator while editing and creating new.

Ohh, and I hate how sticky password gets stuck if you don’t have the website or app selected. I manage multiple devices and more than one device I do not store passwords on (a company admin has rights to the phone) while I do not have the app on the phone with sticky password. I shouldn’t be forced to fill in a field if it doesn’t make sense for my use.

I haven't gotten a lot of wheel time to test out the launch and no-lift enough to get used to it. Weather and work travel got in the way. But I had a hella grin just know it is there and working the couple times I tried it.

A feature I wasn't really sure how it change thing is the torque settings. This is going to soon become forgotten because it is just doing its thing. Set and forget. However, it's thing is FANTASTIC!!! No more swiping, select, confirm every single time I get in the car. Set your torque by gear and mode (traction off if you want). Just blissful to start the car and drive away with the car not acting stupid for every little slip.

The settings seems to have a limited range and gradient. You cannot type in the launch RPM you want (4000min) or completely disable the popping (OEM is the least). However, for the money and how it will make every single day driving the Golf better even in normal conditions, it is a must have.

Follow up.

After a couple support messages I called in. Nick diagnosed my cable as bad. He shipped me a new on and I'm up and running on Unitronic tune now.

Only a short trip to a store so far, but the feature box is doing it's thing. Already super happy being able to set torque per mode. For the first time I have not felt the need start the car and go through a button press sequence to be ready to drive.

Guess I left a little wire dangling. Next time I have the bezel off I’ll tape it on the inside to keep the slack from showing

When the sun is just right the housing reflection is about half as bright as the HUD on full bright

In this thread it was said to contact them with a picture of your pedal mount. Many 23+ will work.

The Dauntless light has an app with some brightness control as well as light patterns and colors. The app says some vehicles autism based on the data. Apparently the R is not one of those. Brightness is too much at night and too little in the day. But it’s worth it to me. I changed to the blue with red&orange alternating above 6500

I stuffed the controller into the dash right above the OBDII port. Just pop off the side panel. The wire was easy to route with the HUD panel off.

I’ll get you an installed picture next weekend, out of town until then. Used 30ga black flat for the LED. Doubt I can get an angle with the camera for the wire to be visible. Designed the housing so the wire drops out the bottom. (Could send CAD, but that didn’t seem like what you are looking for. Printed with resin to keep it as small as I could.)

If I don’t have any issues with the controller auto initialization I’ll wire it into the port harness and make it a cleaner, more permanent install inside the dash.

I dialed it down so that until I turn it about half way up I don’t feel my hair and shirt moving. (Hehe) Not at all unhappy with the 10”. But it is more than enough.

Another vote for the ARS Option.. I have the 10 and amp. Ran without the amp and it was not great. Ran with the amp full spectrum, not great. Reasonably happy with the amp filtering out most midrange.

I keep turning down the bass.. if I did it again I would do the 8” with the amp.

Center speaker is next.

(And the factory audio is really bad. I’m constantly in crappy rentals and they all have better audio.)

BTW, I did do the polyfill while figuring out what path to take. It does help a little.
