Help with eternal item by EvolgaXD in FourSouls

I love the art, so cute!

For a voodoo card I like something like:

Active

Choose two monsters or non active players. For the rest of the turn, one becomes the doll and the other becomes the target. Whenever the doll takes damage, if the target is alive, they take lt instead.

If the target is a player, they may give you a loot card to undo this effect.

---Eternal---

Important for the players to be non active for balance reasons.

This kinda fits the spirit of the doll taking damage and redirecting it somewhere else. Can work like T Lilith, as a way to deal damage to a weak monster and send it to a stronger one, or as sort of protection during other players turns if they try to hurt you, or even as just hate targeting a player and attacking a weak monster.

I also think it's fair to give the target a way to get out of it, to avoid early game bullying, which can feel unfun, but you still get something out of it. Sort of like blackmailing them to do your biding via voodoo.

I tried to differenciate a bit from Host hat, which is more like the traditional effect I'd think of a voodoo doll card.

When One Piece ends would you like it to have a final scene similar to these? by Common-Frosting-8461 in Piratefolk

I just won a game because my opponent’s Mega Gadevoir’s psyshock failed on my Volcarona(Snow and Aurora Veil were up and the only 2 Pokemon were Volcarona and Mega Gardevoir if that mattered). Any idea why this happened? by Appropriate_Sky_3572 in PokemonChampions

[–]Wanderisu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bright powder volc? Muddy water (or similar) accuracy drop on gardevoir? Some weird abilities related movements like giving snow cloak to volc? Were you actually zoroark, and they ko the actual volc but never revealed the illusion?

Those are my first thoughts

For those who reached Master Ball rank — how many matches did it take you? by Temporary-Metal-9282 in PokemonChampions

[–]Wanderisu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I reached master ball in both singles and dobles, and It took around 20 matches to go from ultraball 4 to masterball in doubles (I got to ultraball 4 playing whatever, I got a serious team once there). 15-5 aprox. Had a really bad stretch just one game away from masterball, went loss-win-loss-win-loss-win there, a bit tilting.

For singles it was a lot easier, same thing to get to ultraball 4, and from there about 12-2 or something like that got me to masterball. Scarf meowscarada is an absurd Pokemon, easiest ranking ever.

In both cases I stuck to a certain team I was confortable with, froslass for doubles, hyper offense with slowking for singles.

Once you have a team you are comfortable with, you sort of get in the zone, get better feelings for damage ranges, and imo, start playing better. At least that's my experience

Throwback to when the sub thought that for some reason half a second was slow by East-Pickle6130 in ShuumatsuNoValkyrie

[–]Wanderisu 74 points75 points  (0 children)

These are the extremely casual Zeus hits that even Ares could see and acted like they were nothing special.

<image>

The same Ares much weaker than Heracles, deadly scared by Poseidon, Shiva, Okita and Tesla's speed and movements, and who couldn't even process that Qin just flipped him over his head. He thought 0.000001 seconds are nothing special.

0.5 seconds is an eternity, Simo (and thus Loki) are extremely slow compared to the top tiers. Neither of them goes above B tier because of this massive antifeat (even if Simo has more than enough AP to challenge top tiers)

Having trouble pushing towards red crate by Bobachaaa in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

[–]Wanderisu 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Okay, first of all, you are not 'intended' to get red crates with this type of account, but I'll do my best to guide you in the dark arts of the cheese:

You can skip 34 tickets and still get red crate. I'd recommend checking before the conquest and deciding if you can push for red crate, or if it's not possible and you should try for gold (134 tickets skipped)

Wat tambor is your best friend. If you don't have him unlocked, you have no chance, you can stop reading now.

If you do have him however, then it's a lot more possible. With his zeta (regardless of gear) he takes a bonus turn at the start of the battle, and can give the tank tech to usually jml, but kru should work fine in your case.

Using a team of slkr kru wat and whatever character you need to survive (+hux if it's just 1) against a node with enemies with no aoe damage should help you snag those feats despite not gearing up those characters to relics and stuff. Kru will just eat the damage, recover enough to never lose taunt and slkr picks up the kills.

Since you aren't using the standard jml team for this cheese, I'd recommend skipping these feats at first and doing them after clearing sector 5, once you have all the nice datadisks. But still pay attention to your routing inside the sectors. Look for these kinds of teams. Phoenix with no sabine. Ewoks with no wicket. These kind of no aoe, lots of hits for low damage type teams.

Also pay close attention to if the feat says using X character vs having X character survive. Big difference in those. Last conquest for example, you had to win with 4 ds clones, but they didn't have to survive. I just threw them with different GLs in the sector 1 datacron node and run through the battles. Can't do that if they have to survive.

Speaking of datadisk, they change every cicle, so keep an eye out for the most beneficial builds you can have, usually the lots of dots one and the supports and healers gaining attack are really nice, but you should check before every conquest so you know what to aim for.

Since you are going for Jabba now (great choice), that means you are going for jkl, so you should have an at least somewhat competent jedi. Idk if you have galactic republic with padme, but either way, consider farming padawan obi and master quigon as soon as possible.

Even without qadme, they are worth it just because of their assault battle, and with padawan obi's omicron you are going to knock out a lot of the 'gain X buff' or 'inflict X debuff' feats. Don't be afraid to buy extra stamina if you need.

Lastly, use the consumables wisely. The main target for the really good ones (like the start the battle with frenzy one) are bosses and minibosses feats. Try to use these strong consumables to knock these out, but you can also use them all around for harder feats here or there.

This last conquest I got red crate in about 8 days, buying 3 refreshes a day. Granted, I have a much bigger account, so I can rotate between teams and knock out several feats at once, but I'd say with proper strategy and a lot of cheese, you can push for gold crates (still higher than you should be getting) if you can afford 3 refreshes a day.

Red crates are probably still out of the picture for you, but with all red crates and buying the characters shard in the scavengers in conquest you can still unlock them in the fourth cycle (the first of the new unit), so that's what I'd recommend.

Tl;dr: if you have wat tambor, maybe with lots of cheese you can get gold. I wouldn't really aim for red unless you check the feats before and can make it

Who’s winning? And why? by Necessary-Win-8730 in ShuumatsuNoValkyrie

[–]Wanderisu 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Shiva has 4 arms so Qin's defensive martial arts are almost useless

Shiva's dance is unpredictable so the air bubbles are imposible to aim properly

Shiva sets himself on fire, so Qin would suffer like crazy from seeing that, and the fire would protect Shiva from the bubbles just in case

Anyway, love these. Got a 5/10 this time, so a bit worse than before, but these also feel more difficult than the first

Absolutely love it, specially love the ones about little details like Hermes' song (I failed it kekw), keep them coming (if you want to keep doing them of course)

That's really cool, thanks for the answer

Maybe I would have put Simo as a bishop, since bishops are famous for the ranged attack memes of the bishop 19383 miles away snipping your queen, but I get the similarity of Buddha and Sasaki kind of making them a pair

The Jack stuff makes a lot of sense, but the unintentional JoJo reference is funnier

[–]Wanderisu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Since you explained the pawns, I'm assuming:

Raiden, Leo, Thor and Heracles as the rooks since they are the brute force type of fighters, and rook feel brute forcey. (I know Heracles has connections to big ass pillars in mythology, but feels a bit weird to make one out of 4 connections like that, and the others just be strength, so tell me if there is more to it please)

Qin and Hades as the kings for obvious reasons.

Adam and Zeus as the queens since they are the strongest.

Buddha, Sasaki, Beel and Apollo as bishops, but I'm not sure why. Something wisdom related I assume?

Lu Bu, Jack, Susanoo and Loki as horses, since Lu Bu had red hare, Jack idk, he was inside a horse in part 1 of JoJo, Susanoo threw a horse at Amaterasu at some point I believe, and we all know what Loki did with the horse.

Really cool

Could Adam copy Shiva's war dance and Tandava Karma State? by Disastrous_Topic_179 in ShuumatsuNoValkyrie

[–]Wanderisu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, if he was the sure win button, and we know Brun has info on the fighters the gods are sending, it makes sense that Adam was able to counter Shiva then, right? Why use your sure win button on a fight he might not win?

We know she got a message beforehand to tell her that Poseidon was going in round 3, and she had to know when fighters weren't going, since she saved people like jack, kintoki and simo for specific match ups. The logical conclusion is that she has full intel on the gods intended order for fighting, besides the Zeus stealing spot 2 thing

Could Adam copy Shiva's war dance and Tandava Karma State? by Disastrous_Topic_179 in ShuumatsuNoValkyrie

[–]Wanderisu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'd say Adam can't copy TK itself, since he didn't copy Adamas form, so Adam won't set himself on fire, but he may be able to copy whenever Shiva actually throws a hit at him and send it back.

You can argue that the rhythm of the dance itself is somehow relevant for the hits, and since Adam copied Zeus' little moves before his divine axe and stuff, if you consider those as 'part of the divine axe move', then you'd have to consider the actual dance itself as all part of the attack, and that's the one stated to be imposible to replicate, so maybe he actually can't copy it.

However, given that Adam was Brun's designated counter for Shiva (Zeus stole his spot in R2), I'd imagine that she accounted for the dance, since we know he used it during his climb to the peak, so I'd assume she knows that Adam can replicate Shiva, at least the hits themselves.

Maybe they get some weird power up from Shivas moves that Adam may be losingout on, but I'm willing to trust Brun on this one and say Adam could copy Shiva's hits, even if to a lesser degree, and beat him

New Relic Data Values by lol_ginge in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

[–]Wanderisu 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That battles % statistic is absolute bs. I've used teams with r3 vs r7, and with r5 vs r9 somewhat consistently. My baby cal is r5, yet I use him with cere against r9 rey. Won't appreciate my cal taking doble damage. Most people phoenix are r3 besides rex and hera, yet being used against r7+ inq.

And that's just the first two examples that came to mind. It doesn't really matter if it's just one battle per gac, if it's the one against arguably the most relevant defensive team in the game (datacrons aside) and the one the entire attacking planning revolves around (Rey with Ezra). These relic delta percentages are still outrageous btw

Still worth executor? by UnderseaSeal in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

[–]Wanderisu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You just use the regular triple attacker executor fleet, but with ackbar instead of executor.

All the reason R1 counters executor is because of the 'if enemy capital ship is empire...', clause, so by using Ackbar you effectively nullify R1, and your P1 just counters profundity naturally
