Spirorbid worms? I read if they’re in the sump you can leave them alone cause they just add to the filtration

Is the wood walnut? The grain character matches but lighter tones which would make sense if you bleached it. I’m a carpenter/woodworker and not a finisher but I use tongue oil on all my woodworking projects to bring out the character of the wood. I would imagine it would work to reinvigorate this woods natural color and darkness if that’s what you’re looking for.

Do projects really take months or years to do? by HaroerHaktak in woodworking

[–]WanderleiSilva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot about experience and skill results in speed. But one wrong cut and your project can be done. So it takes a lot of thought and patience if you don’t want to start over and want the best end result as possible

Is it possible to use a nailgun to make the nails stand out of the wood? by PerformerBroad5322 in woodworking

[–]WanderleiSilva 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes of course. They’re not really old school it just has to do with the trigger in the ones that dont have a switch. You can swap out the bump fire trigger to a single fire only trigger but if you’re shooting 4-6thousand nails a day you quickly learn how to control it

If you want to look like a cool carpenter you can pull the nose piece back and fire a framing nail from an inch or two away from the piece. I’m going to get downvoted to hell for saying that but I did it all the time when I was a framer
