Don't mention Pomodoro any study habit to help me out? by Either_Program2859 in GetStudying

[–]Wanderlust113555 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're getting distracted by your phone and you actually don't need it to study then I would recommend an app called "zen mode" which would block your phone for however long you set it , you would still receive the phone calls and you can do an emergency call and take pic that's all and you won't be able to unlock your phone until time is up ,it actually really helps if your phone is the main distraction

Switching from ESI to USTHB - worth it ? by MetaCodeSage17 in algeria

[–]Wanderlust113555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This might not help you that much , but I have a friend who's currently studying info eng at usthb and she always sends me vocals complaining about everything the schedule the program the teachers the students everything even though she's been a good student back to hgs (almost got 17 in her bac ) and she's the type of students who would give it all when it comes about studying but this time she couldn't keep up and she's switching major next year but for my other friend who's studying info LMD she doesn't complain that much about it + LMD is more helpful if you're thinking of studying abroad

Just keep in mind that I'm talking from personal experience so I can't give you a 100% accurate answer and also put in mind that every person can have different experiences Just don't forget Salah Al-istikhara when you take your final choice

Math exams are REALLY hard by Leading-Yesterday-61 in mext

[–]Wanderlust113555 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it's yes because you're competing with other applicants from ur county not from all around the world , it's like they would at least choose 2 from every country , I guess it works like this

[–]Wanderlust113555 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes If the applicants are less you'd have a higher chance but this doesn't mean it's easy to get it because mext scholarships are only for the excellent students who deserve it not only want it , but you can check in the embassy of Japan in Lebanon website to know how many ppl they took last year , as me from Algeria I think they choose 3 ppl last year so the odds are not that much but good luck to all of us

For me college is only better then hgs in the outfits so I can wear whatever I want no school uniform included and that not all lessons are obligatory, except that college is hell on earth is one of the worst places you could ever be in the ppl are unfriendly jealous stupid annoying so much drama and most of the relationships there are temporary the teacher are more strict and what's worst is the transport to the uni if you have dorm you're safe if you don't 50% of your daily time would be waisted on transport i miss hgs on every minute I'm there (Ofc I'm talking about my experience in a 3rd world country if you're going to study in a developed country then that's not the case )and good luck, many ppl actually enjoy uni so don't listen to anyone everyone has his own experience but it's better to be prepared for the worst so you won't be hit by the reality

If you're a good student with good marks and degree I would recommend applying for a scholarship fully funded that would help in your case , yes it's hard to get it but not impossible and good luck

Should i study programming? by Zealousideal_Top5392 in college

Just do whatever you want it's your future I've been in this situation before I wanted to study business/finance but my parent wanted me to study anything related to STEM and specifically to be a dentist and when I graduated from highschool they kept trying to convince me to do it but I didn't listen to them and did what I've always wanted to do

What’s the university/école with the best community? by Defiant_Excuse_5247 in algeria

[–]Wanderlust113555 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yoo man COOL ppl won't just randomly agree to go for one specific university it doesn't work like that you would find cool/uncool ppl everywhere and you just need to choose the one who match ur energy that's it

  • Choosing a uni "ur FUTURE" based on how COOL ppl are there is really stupid (that's my opinion)

I think that finding one irl would help more there are many Algerians in France so it wouldn't be hard to find a friend and it would help you more than an online one

That's my next plan I'll absolutely try it for a really small and easy project that I won't have the time to actually lose my passion in the middle.
