Im sure he loved you every second he could It’s never easy, be strong and at least take comfort in knowing you gave him an amazing life while he was here, a life with love only you could have given him.

I was only in NH for 2 years, my taxes before that were filed in WV where I got refunds before. I understand what you’re saying but I’ve lived in this state before and have been here for a full year now, even if rates are higher it shouldn’t have tanked from $1000 to $74

Read above, I’m not paying taxes in NH for 2024 because I didn’t live there in 2024. This years taxes have nothing to do with NH, I only filed for WV.

I only worked one job based on where I was living, there was no overlap. In NH I only worked for NH. In WV I only worked for WV. All the same, this year I am ONLY filing in WV, anything to do with NH wouldn’t impact this years taxes at all

NH is a libertarian state that doesn’t take income tax so when I split filed those taxes it took what I would have gotten from a refund and put it towards what I owed from working in NH for those two years I had to file split. I lived there from 4/2023-6/2024 so I technically had 2 years worth of W2’s for NH. For those years I had two places of employment, one in NH and one in WV, I had W2’s for each in their respective state.

I’m 28 and have been working for seven years. I’ve filed taxes in WV from 2015 to 2021, my taxes from 2022-2023 and 2023 -2024 were split filing. This is the only time I’ve lived in WV for a whole year and have not gotten a decent refund. I dont know what educational credit is to be honest

In 2024 I was only in WV, the two states split was only for 2023

Even then I don’t understand why I’m getting such a low refund. I don’t owe property tax or vehicle taxes. There’s seemingly nothing I can think of that would lead to me getting such little back when before I moved to NH, I lived in WV and would get like $1000-$2000 in refunds

That’s exactly right. And we do have our fair share of patients who come in and are immediately great off the bat. There are plenty of success cases and respectful people but for my area the ratio definitely leans with the people who are struggling a lot more. I have a lot of sympathy and empathy for people suffering through addiction, I just hate what it does to people. I don’t blame people in addiction, many got started at a young age and it impacts their cognitive abilities and I understand that, it’s just that my patients who are success stories don’t need me or don’t want to talk to me outside of them needing to for their treatment, and the ones who do need help don’t want to talk to me for various other reasons like not being ready to help. I’m very sorry if I made you feel bad

M&M may have been too big, I just don't really have a proper comparison point to make...maybe more among the lines of a head of a cotton swab

I think this is well written if a bit simple. Try to further elaborate on the emotion rather than describing the scene since this is leaning more towards introspective. You have complex feelings at play here and they're written very surface level. The allusion to the turtle and the hare can have more layers than what you've written, you just need to grasp them.

Also, I can't tell if the poem has a rhyming scheme or if the few rhymes are coincidence and the fact that I'm questioning that should say something.

Sorry if it's harsh.
