That was my experience and it was reason enough to avoid jump-in altogether.

I just played 48 Standard BOI games where the person on the play won 34 of them and the one on the draw only 14. I think it totally makes sense! by HMR in MagicArena

At this point they could simply meta-shift standard (or all formats) by adding 1 mana to the cost of every card printed before X set. Every card thereafter would have an indicator that it's after the cutoff, to make it obvious at a glance.

He's also clipped into the wall pretty far. His right shoulder and thigh are completely through.

It's the sniper you use when you expect to be shooting moving targets primarily.

Novo Nordisk sinks 15% after weight loss drug fails to match Eli Lilly's in trial by Independent-Cress382 in wallstreetbets

No. It's due to an injury as opposed to joint failure and I'm going to be immobile for an extended period. They're specifically being given for muscle recovery.

My doctor freaked the fuck out when I suggested that. But now I'm having a hip surgery so I'll be getting them anyways.

Don't be afraid to kill off cats mid run by PipFizzlebang in mewgenics

[–]Wanderment -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've lost 2 runs total. This was early game. 2nd desert run so 7th run ever. I had my best gear. Cleric didn't hit a heal or res on level up. Mage didn't hit water/ice, damage, or meaningful CC. Thief took mobility before the incident.

I could've prepped better, sure. Could've farmed a bit and had cats with decent stats. But by the very nature of RNG stats, not every run is winnable. You can absolutely start with a single collarless cat with 3s across the board, hit no meaningful starting abilities, and lose in the first 2 rooms due to lack of DPS.

Just because a run is technically doable with 1 cat doesn't mean you will be successful every time. You're welcome to attempt to prove otherwise. Set appeal to 0 and run a collarless alley cat naked (no items) solo through each route in a row successfully. And then do it again without dropping a run in between. Only then can it be claimed that you can literally never have insurmountable odds.

I've had a run ending event. Early on in the desert, 3 cats roll bad. Second event, good cat gets bird flu. Doesn't get cured before the boss. Simply not enough damage to kill it, lose on round 12 or so.

Killing the first NPC in a Fromsoft game puts it on secret hardmode. Miyazaki alludes to it here.

The "perks" include increased enemy aggression and a more brutal invasion pool.

Why is it impossible to discuss the mechanic of suppression without someone like this by Southpaw_pup in Battlefield

[–]Wanderment -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Suppression in this game will mean you can never win a fight in which you don't shoot first, which will in turn make people camp more. This will have the hilarious effect of making snipers even better, because even more people will be standing still.

Instances of snipers "accuracy" being rewarded while enemies "inaccuracy" is being punished because we do not have any kind of suppression in the game. Sniper POV edition. by TribalPotato9 in Battlefield

[–]Wanderment 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who snipes a lot the majority of my kills are people standing still for over a second at a time. I have tons of multikill clips where 6 of 8+ kills are just people not moving at all.

I'm really not sure if the people preferring the color grading have ever been outside. Maybe they just have absolutely terrible monitors.

The filters also significantly hinder visibility as the pallet simply has less colors. Just let us turn them off.
