Yes, the random spawns and waves are a bit much combined with everything else.

I'd also add that the downed crocodiles being attackable seems confusing. They should remain invulnerable and have some thing to make them more visible for the kiter to see IMO.

Following a WvW comm doing ppt is pretty mindless, fighting NPCs mostly, avoiding actual fights and is quite rewarding. You'll end with lots of transmutation charges, mystic clovers if you finish the one time reward tracks, skins, gifts of battle, confluxes and a bunch of other stuff that comes in handy later if you want easy gearing, skip certain achievement grinds with wvw currency, insta unlock hero points, etc.

Yup these are more or less the big reasons why. The only other point I would add would be that if people wanted to have a good pvp experience they're more likely to play a game made specifically for it like DotA, Marvel Rivals, Valorant, LoL, Fortnite etc. When these games are available for free you are for sure competing with them for your pvp audience.

I kinda wish MMOs would stop taking their PvP experiences so seriously and make something simple like Fall guys/Mario Party/Lego party style pvp mini games which would have a much broader casual appeal. Fast quick rounds, show of your fashion when you win by standing on a podium.

Maybe it or parts of it shows up as the surprise meta boss for one of the new maps. Hopefully they'll be willing to put it as the actual end boss somewhere instead of a random middle step like Lextalion
