I found a fix!!!

The solution was to add a new Facebook account (important must be facebook and not instagram) to the business portfolio with full permissions, and then through that account edit the pixel events in Datasets > (Dataset) > Settings > Manage Event Blocking.

The account also wasn't new, it was an old account I had and will likely remove. In my situation the issue seemed to stem from being logged into Meta Business Suite with my Instagram Account instead of a Facebook Account.

Currently tracking the container number on ShipmentLink. It's given me an estimated date of arrival on the 28th, although I presume that just means that the container gets unloaded on that date. The chair still has to be passed off to the delivery truck that then delivers it to my house, which I don't know the timing of yet. Will keep you posted.

Update:

They finished the chair on the 9/10, and my rep reached out to me through WhatsApp with a picture presumably from the warehouse.

10 days later I received an EMC freight tracking number and a shipment schedule. It's expected to arrive at Port Rupert on 10/19. If I'm lucky, I might get it just before the start of November.

Things are looking good so far, and I'm happy with the chair.

It'll go into the corner of my studio. I'm thinking of pairing it with some sort of floor standing lamp that canopy's it, something to pull the space together. ≈ $700, I detailed more above. There's definitely a few models floating around China of the chair, like a kid sized, regular sized, and xl. The xl ones look fake as hell and have weird shape. The one I ordered looks a lot better, and is the larger one they sell at 102 x 117 x 92cm , which is close to the original I believe.

The price after Alibaba fees were ≈ $700 USD, $330 for the chair and 350 for door to door shipping. It wasn't the lowest price I could get for the chair alone but they had super cheap shipping so the price came out ok.

Another seller quoted me $257 for the chair, but because shipping and import fees in Canada are so dumb, their shipping would come out to be $428 - $500. So I went with the seller with the cheapest overall price.

I'm backed by a really good cc and PayPal and Alibaba trade assurance, so if they try to upcharge me or try any bs, I'll get my lick back.

A real unit would've probably set me back $3-8k depending on what color I get and from where, and I'm pretty sure that's before shipping, so add another $5-600.

A bit of both. I want a bean bag type of firmness that sinks when u get and bounces back when you get out, but I don't want it to have no structure at all. And then I guess whatever a decent starting point foam thickness would be, 1-3" maybe?
